    193. How To Know If God Actually Assigned You To Your Business. Not Everyone Is Cut Out for This (And That's Okay).

You know those moments where you hit a wall and you blurt out in exasperation, "I don't think I can do this. I'm not even sure God wants me to!" That question is more common than you think, and today we're going deep on it. I'm breaking down the difference between a skill gap and a calling gap, because those two things feel similar on the surface but they are not the same. One means you need to learn something. The other means you might need to have an honest conversation with God about your assignment. We also talk about why struggle is not automatically a sign that you're in the wrong place, why some people are genuinely not built for entrepreneurship (and why that is not a failure), and how to tell the difference between a season that's hard and a season that's hollow. I share some personal stories in this one, including a dinner conversation that stopped me in my tracks and a season of my own life where I had to lay something down that I really thought was from the Lord. My goal for you in this episode is clarity. By the time you finish listening, you should have a stronger sense of whether your frustration is hiding a skill problem or a calling problem. And to help you go even deeper on that, I put together a free audit for you. It walks you through the key areas of your business so you can pinpoint exactly where your gaps are and what to do about them. 191. 4 Steps to Rest Well: Recharging Your Spirit and Business

In this episode of Wisdom's Table, we're going deep on something a lot of high-achieving entrepreneurs try to skip: REST. If you've been working hard and you're starting to feel the drain, this one is for you. I get personal in this episode. I take you back to 2011 when I hit a wall that changed everything I thought I knew about capacity, output, and what it actually means to be well.  This year, the Lord pressed on me to take a sabbatical from one-on-one coaching through June and July. Honestly? My first reaction was not peace. It was resistance. But I said yes, and what has happened on the other side of that obedience is exactly what this episode is about. I also walk you through a four-part framework I've been using to rest in a way that actually fills you back up. I'm calling it Release, Enter, Satisfy, and Together. This isn't about checking out. It's about checking in, with God, with yourself, with what your soul is actually asking for. Rest isn't a reward for finishing. It's part of the work. Want to learn how to build differently?
