Primitive Camping & Bushcraft

I’m a disabled vet, I stumbled on your podcast when I’m trying to learn more about Bushcraft and survival. I’ve walked many miles with you. I listen to you on the treadmill. I love the podcast, I’ve listened to it consecutively since the beginning. It sucks. It’s not a video, but that’s the Apple podcast app. I’ve absorbed so much, I remember when you start repeating yourself. I’m absorbing as much as I can, I will have to try to get your book!

Being a former US Army Infantryman that has spent a good amount of my adult life in less than modern lifestyle conditions around the country and world, I truly appreciate Primitive Camping and Bushcraft. These are both a great podcast and book. Chris’s approach to the topics are rooted in common sense and are discussed with clarity and a sense of humor to keep things light, but rooted in the Word of God. The podcast takes a deep dive into the topics that are laid out in the book. While both can be used independently of each other, the two are very complimentary. It is much like a professor using a textbook to preface a lecture. Like Chris says, there really is no wrong way to do it. In this case, however, I think he’s doing it right. The direction of the podcast is exciting and I look forward to the episodes as they are put out. Tying in the topics of primitive camping and bushcraft to God’s word is an awesome encouragement. Yes, acknowledge Christ in all you do! Keep up the awesome work and may you be blessed in every way!

This podcast helped me learn about bushcraft. My only complaint is that you are constantly trying to sell your book and the fact you have a lot of followers on Facebook (but I’m the first review and didn’t come from Facebook). Other then that great podcast!
