    Canadians Turn Against Transgender Ideology? | Bridgehead Briefing Ep. 76

    Jonathon looks at a CBC report claiming that Canadians are "becoming less accepting of gender diversity" - and explains why the state broadcaster's framing is very misleading. Second, Jonathon looks at BC Conservative leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay's video portraying Premier David Eby as an extremist. CLARIFICATION: The Bridgehead’s original episode published on Thursday, August 27th included a short segment claiming that Wayne Bernakevitch is an LGBT activist. He is not. We have removed segments from this episode making that claim and have done so as soon as we found out about this mistake. The CBC seem to have deliberately paraphrased Bernakevitch’s comments to paint the picture they wanted to portray in their article.  The point Bernakevitch seems to have made in his original interview was that the coverage of gender diversity is a big distraction from the main issues that young people care about. But it is impossible to tell because it seems the original radio interview was selectively edited to make a point as well. The Regina Civic Awareness Action Network and Wayne Bernakevitch are in favour of Premier Scott Moe’s Parent’s Bill of Rights. Bernakevitch was taken out of context to prove the CBC’s point. We sincerely apologize to Wayne Bernakevitch and our listeners for the mistake made on our part.
