    Megan Wold- an attorney, lobbyist her perspective on Prop 1

    Megan M. Wold focuses her practice on legal issues and brief-writing in complex commercial matters, constitutional litigation, and administrative law disputes.  She has argued cases in both state and federal court, drafted briefs at all levels of state and federal litigation, and regularly practices before the U.S. Supreme Court.  She has represented Fortune 500 clients in international arbitrations, complex tort and fraud litigation, class actions, commercial property disputes, and complex multi-district litigation.  She has frequently represented clients in regulatory disputes with state and federal agencies. Ms. Wold previously served as a Simon Karas Fellow and Deputy Solicitor General in the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.  Ms. Wold has practiced as an associate at Bancroft PLLC and as a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Ms. Wold served as a law clerk to Justice Samuel A. Alito of the U.S. Supreme Court and to Judge Jeffrey Sutton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  She graduated from the University of Notre Dame School of Law in 2011 and is a member of the bars of Ohio and the District of Columbia. Ms. Wold graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2008 with an undergraduate degree in international studies and religion.  She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a recipient of the Meek Family Service Leadership Prize.     Steve Keyser for Idaho House of Representatives

    Steve and his wife Margie have called District 15 in Boise home for ten years, bringing with them a lifetime of Idaho values. As a retired police officer, Steve has spent his career serving and protecting — and he’s ready to bring that same steady, balanced, and practical approach to the Idaho State House. Steve is a retired police officer, and Margie is a retired school psychologist. Over a long law enforcement career, Steve worked patrol, detective work, supervision, narcotics, crime prevention, and budgeting — experience that taught him how to weigh evidence, spot unintended consequences, and make sound decisions under pressure. That’s exactly the kind of steady judgment Idaho needs in the State House. Rooted in Community Steve and Margie have called Boise home for ten years, and they came here because they love what makes Idaho, Idaho. Since arriving, Steve has rolled up his sleeves volunteering with church benevolence projects, the local food pantry, a community medical clinic, and programs that support grandparents raising their grandchildren. He’s also testified before the Legislature in support of Idaho priorities, and was sworn in as a substitute Idaho State Senator earlier this year, so he already knows how the process works and is ready to hit the ground running on day one. Steve’s son, Josh Keyser, represents neighboring Legislative District 20 in the Idaho State Senate — proof that public service, and earning voters’ trust the honest way, runs in the family.     Brett Harding (Republican Party) is running for election for Ada County Coroner in Idaho. Harding is on the ballot in the general election on November 3, 2026. Harding advanced from the Republican primary on May 19, 2026. As a lifelong medicolegal professional, I bring more than three decades of experience investigating deaths and serving communities with integrity and precision. As Chief Deputy Coroner for Ada County, I bring steady leadership and nationally recognized expertise, committed to delivering accurate, compassionate, and professional forensic services for families and the public. I have already implemented strategic operational improvements that strengthen the office and better serve Ada County. As a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars, I will ensure the Coroner’s Office continues to operate with excellence, transparency, and respect for those we serve. The Ada County Coroner’s Office will continue to fully staff the office with dedicated professionals who operate at the highest forensic level. In my off time, I enjoy traveling with my wife and spending time with our children and our five grandchildren. When I step away for the field of medicolegal death investigation, I envision the Ada County Coroner’s Office as being a shining example of what a modern coroner’s office should be. My legacy would be one where the people of Ada County can count on receiving the very best in medicolegal death investigations by a coroner’s office that truly safeguards our community.     Jim Risch U.S. Senator for Idaho

    Jim Risch, Idaho’s 28th Senator, is a dedicated public servant who is consistently recognized as one of the most conservative members of the U.S. Senate. Now in his third term in the U.S. Senate, Senator Risch has built a reputation for protecting the Second Amendment, advocating for energy independence, blocking federal overreach, and defending Idaho agriculture and natural resources. Senator Risch serves on five key committees: Energy and Natural Resources, Foreign Relations, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Intelligence, and Ethics. He also serves as Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. A proud Vandal, Senator Risch received his bachelor’s degree in forestry and Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho. He began his career in public service when he was elected to two terms as Ada County Prosecuting Attorney. He went on to serve in the Idaho State Senate, where his peers elected him as Republican Majority Leader and President Pro Tempore. Following his time in the State Legislature, Senator Risch was twice elected as Idaho’s Lieutenant Governor. There, Senator Risch’s lifelong efforts to cut red tape and lower taxes distinguished him as a proponent for small businesses and economic development. In 2006, Senator Risch became Idaho’s 31st Governor. As Governor, Senator Risch achieved major tax reform, cutting property taxes by 20%, and secured $100 million for Idaho’s public schools. He also led efforts to effectively manage the state’s roadless areas and directed additional funding to expand Idaho’s nursing programs. Outside of public service, Senator Risch is a rancher, small business owner, and former senior partner of the Risch Goss Insinger Gustavel Law firm. He and his wife, Vicki, have been married for over 50 years. They are the proud parents of three married sons and have nine grandchildren and live on their ranch outside of Boise.
