HTWDT Episode 47: Cabin in the Woods (2011) and They Will Kill You (2026)

Hey, Whole Damn Family! Don't let the title of the first movie fool you, there's a lot beneath the Cabin in this horror trope, Sam Raimi-inspired, zombie redneck torture family feud in the woods movie. Directed by Drew Goddard, Cabin in the Woods (2011) is a fun one, and we add a little insight into the making of it. There's also a lot going on with the Samurai Tarantino spaghetti-western Shaw Brothers action-horror movie. They Will Kill You (2026) by director Kiril Sokolof. You are marked safe from Mike singing in this episode. Want to support and buy some show swag? Check out our store! Click on 'Explore Designs.' HTWDT Episode 46: The Evil Dead (1981) Lee Cronin's The Mummy (2026)

Hello, Whole Damn Family. This episode, we have an all-time classic! Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead from (1981). Luckily, James discovered an old reel-to-reel with the synopsis on it. So he plays it. Don't worry, we didn't play the Latin parts, so you're "marked safe from being turned into a Deadite" by this episode (we think). In the second half of the show, we discuss (2026) Lee Cronin's The Mummy, which is just as evil and almost as dead. Mike sings again (that should keep the Deadites away). The boys definitely have a good time talking about these two. There are also some good behind-the-scenes tidbits in this one. Want to support and buy some show swag? Check out our store! HTWDT Episode 45: Train to Busan (2016) 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026)

Hey Whole Damn Family. All aboard for this episode, making stops in old TV references, Korean action-horror, and more of Mike singing (we're not saying that's a good thing). First up is the Korean classic Train to Busan (2016), which is destined for an American remake soon. After that, we do a spoiler-free version of Director Nia DaCosta's new film 28 Years Later : The Bone Temple (2026), followed by us ruining the whole damn thing. Mike also makes call out to a Korean ruler to join our Patreon and win a shirt...are you him? If so let us know! Want to support and buy some show swag? Check out our store! HTWDT Episode 44: The Ring (2002) Undertone (2026)

It's AV night for the Whole Damn Family. First, it's old-school videotapes as we adjust the tracking on this underrated classic. We say underrated because its Rotten Tomatoes score is crap, and we cannot figure out why. With heavy hitters like Gore Verbinski, Naomi Watts, and makeup FX by Legend Rick Baker, it's (2002) The Ring, which of course is a remake of a J-Horror classic Ringu. We break down a lot of this movie and even talk about Ringu's original inspiration beyond just the novel by Koji Suzuki . Our newer match-up for this video selection is audio only, with Undertone (2026), the new low-budget film released by A24. We get deep into the backward masking and find the hidden messages of this new film directed by newcomer Ian Tuason and starring Nina Kiri from The Handmaid's Tale. HTWDT Episode 43: Natural Born Killers (1994) The Bride! (2026)

Hey, Whole Damn family! This episode is two hardcore punk rock, bizzaro, movies about relationships and love. Do you like Sid and Nancy or Bonnie and Clyde or Simon and Garfunkle? Then walk down the aisle with us on this one. We got some great behind-the-scenes of both of these movies. Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers from 1994, based on a Tarantino (heavily rewritten) script, learn some wild tales that went into making this movie you may have forgotten about. And then we get into Maggie Gyllenhaal's, The Bride! (2026), yeah, it's tanking at the box office, but it's so worth seeing. This movie deserves more than it got. Mike isn't just saying that because he worked on it. You'll learn what went into recreating the classic monster with a new vision and feel. There are some shoutouts at the end, maybe we yell your name?! For more upcoming Bride makeup FX pics and more! HTWDT Episode 42: Scream (1996) and Scream 7 (2026)

Hello Family (read that in Ghostface voice). Well, since Scream 7 is currently burning down the box office. We thought it appropriate to pair it with the original (which Mike worked on). That's right, the Wes Craven classic Scream (1996) and Scream 7 (2026) were directed by Screams' original writer and creator, Kevin Williamson. If you're a fan of the series, this is a must-listen! Lots of behind-the-scenes bits and fun trivia. The Stephen King Dark Web even unearthed a promo for Scream, The Franchise game. This may seem like a long episode, but let's face it, there was a lot to scream about. Plus maybe Roger Jackson pops in... Want to support and buy some show swag? Check out our store! HTWDT Episode 41: Misery (1990) Send Help (2026)

Hey, Whole Damn Family! This episode is secluded with loving couples, well, sorta... We kick it off with (1990)'s Misery from the mind of Stephen King and the directing prowess of the late great Rob Reiner. This episode dives deep into what if Bette Midler was actually cast as Annie Wilkes. She'd be all "Boogie Woogie Oogy", we think. There's some good behind the scenes on Misery and of course we dig up an old Misery promo from the Stephen King Darkweb. After that Sam Raimi is back with his brand new movie Send Help (2026) Does it stand up to his past work or do we vote it off the island? Also how helpful can a finance bro be when your stranded.
