Off With Their Headlines

What you are saying about W and H reminds me of what H said in Spare that when he was at Eton W acted as he wanted nothing to do with H—to the point that as if he didn’t know H. I always feel that W is a very prideful and entitled person with extreme anger issue. And Catherine is the “yielder” in their relationship. I also think the Harry naming his book Spare was apt and serves to explain the entire dynamic between them.

This is the smartest podcast in my rotation. These two women have taught me so much about media literacy that it’s almost embarrassing. I’m obsessed.

I’ve followed Meredith and Amanda individually on TikTok for the past six years, so when they joined forces last year, I knew I’d be tuning in twice a week for their take on the current Royal-tea (lol, see what I did there?). Their commentary is fresh, modern, and genuinely entertaining, while their mission to promote media literacy encourages listeners to think critically about the information we consume. I feel like I have a kindred spirit in Meredith. As a fellow millennial ADHD mom, I’m right there with her when she bursts into song or goes off on a tangent. I see you, Queen! 😂 Amanda is the perfect counterbalance to Meredith’s beautiful chaos. 😂 She gently reins her in while bringing a thoughtful, intelligent, and well-informed perspective to every episode. Her background in art history adds fascinating context and depth, and her warmth and humor complement Meredith perfectly. What I love most about Off With Their Headlines is that they never simply tell you what to think. They make you laugh, make you think, and encourage you to question how stories are presented. It’s the perfect blend of smart, funny, insightful, and just the right amount of chaotic. If you’re interested in the Royal Family, pop culture, or becoming a more media-literate consumer while having a good laugh, give these two Queens a listen. 👑

Amanda is super smart and I like her nuanced take. Meredith has quintessential millennial humor so if you’re into that you’ll like her.
