What I’m Loving Right Now: A Reentry Week Favorites Episode

Sometimes you need a plan. And sometimes you just need to wing it. After spending five weeks with my grandson, I’m back home, getting back into the rhythm of work, life, planning, podcasting, and all the things. I had another episode planned for this week, but this felt more fun and more fitting for where I am right now. So today, I’m sharing some of the things I am genuinely loving lately. We’re talking about everything from the ChatGPT-generated lists helping me get my brain and business organized again, to devotionals, my planner, a beautiful coloring book, getting back into my physical Bible, and a few completely random things that are making everyday life a little better. I’m also sharing a few of those little moments that remind me that God sees us, hears us, and is present in the details of our lives. In this episode: How I’m approaching a full reentry week after five weeks with my grandson How I used ChatGPT to prioritize everything I wanted to accomplishSome of my favorite things right nowWhy I’m loving physical books, handwritten Scripture, and all things “analog” right nowAnd the reminder that there is a rhythm to our lives, and sometimes we can simply learn to move with itThis one is a little different. No big teaching outline. No perfectly packaged lesson. Just a conversation about what I’m loving, what’s helping me, and what God has been reminding me of lately. And honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what we need. Renew Your Mind: Remember, Believe, Live

We hear “renew your mind” all the time as Christians. But what does that actually look like on a regular Tuesday? Renewing your mind isn't about repeating a mantra you hope you'll eventually believe or replacing every negative thought with something positive. It's intentionally reminding yourself of what God says is true, choosing to believe His Word over the thoughts and beliefs that compete with it, and learning to live in alignment with that truth. In this episode, I'm taking Romans 12:2 from something we know we're supposed to do and bringing it into everyday life. We're talking about a simple practice: Remember. Believe. Live. Remember what God says. Believe what He says, even when another thought is competing for your attention. Then ask what it looks like to actually live from that belief today. I'm also sharing two practical tools I use regularly: my planner and journaling. My planner helps me intentionally remind myself of God's truth and who I want to be because of what He says. Journaling helps me uncover the thoughts and beliefs that may actually be driving my actions without me realizing it. In this episode, we talk about: • Why renewing your mind is different from positive thinking• Why knowing God's Word and living as though you believe it aren't always the same thing• How to recognize beliefs that are competing with what God says• Why your actions and patterns can give you clues about what you're believing• How journaling can help uncover the thoughts underneath your behavior• Why finding a lie isn't an opportunity to shame yourself• How to take thoughts captive and examine them under the authority of Scripture• How I use my Life on Purpose Planner to intentionally remind myself of God's truth• What it looks like to move from knowing the Word to actually living from it You don't have to believe every thought your brain gives you. Notice it. Get curious about it. Bring it under the authority of God's Word. Remind yourself of what God says and that you believe Him. Then ask: What does living from this truth look like today? This is a practice. We remind ourselves because we're human and we forget. Remember. Believe. Live. From Interested to Invested: Renewing Your Mind

Have you ever known what Scripture says, believed it, and still struggled to live like it was true? For years, I could quote Romans 12:2 and tell you that transformation comes through renewing your mind. But I did not fully understand what renewing my mind looked like in everyday life. I was repeating the verse while also repeating thoughts about myself that contradicted what God said. In this episode, we are continuing the conversation about being interested versus invested by looking at what it means to become invested in transformation. We will talk about: • What it means to renew your mind• Why noticing your thoughts matters• How familiar thoughts can begin to feel like facts• What it looks like to take a thought captive• How to determine whether a thought is both true and helpful• The difference between renewing your mind and forcing positive thinking• How your thoughts influence your emotions, actions, and results• Why transformation requires practice, not perfection You do not have to change every thought today. Start by noticing one thought you have been rehearsing and ask yourself: Is this completely true? Is it helpful? Does it agree with God’s Word? What is it producing in my life? Transformation does not happen because we know the right verse. It happens as we learn to live it, one renewed thought at a time. Interested or Invested? Part 2: What Happens After You Decide

Last week we talked about the difference between being interested in something and being truly invested in it. This week, we're taking the next step. What do you actually do once you've decided you're ready to commit? In this episode, I'm sharing what that looked like for me as I made the decision to recommit to my own health and wellness journey after realizing I had slowly shifted from being committed... to simply being interested. I'm walking you through the exact practices I'm putting back into place, why mindset matters just as much as the plan itself, and how to build habits that don't just help you reach a goal, but help you become the woman who naturally lives that way. If you've been stuck starting over, waiting for motivation, or wondering why you can't seem to stay consistent, I think this conversation will encourage you. In this episode we talk about: • What happens after you decide to commit• Why your practices matter more than your intentions• How to create habits you'll actually want to keep• The importance of reminding yourself why it matters• Shifting your mindset from restriction to excitement• Building a life that naturally supports the woman you're becoming You don't need a perfect plan. You need a decision... and the willingness to practice it one day at a time. The Difference Between Being Interested vs. Invested

Have you ever wondered why you know exactly what to do... but you just aren't doing it? Maybe you've told yourself you're committed to getting healthier, growing your faith, improving your marriage, building your business, or finally following through on that goal. But what if the issue isn't that you lack discipline? What if you're simply interested... not invested? In this episode, we're exploring one powerful distinction that has completely changed the way I coach myself and others. When we confuse interest with commitment, we often end up beating ourselves up for not making progress. But once we honestly acknowledge where we are, we can stop living in shame and start making intentional decisions. In this episode you'll learn: The difference between being interested and being invested Why awareness is the beginning of lasting change How to stop beating yourself up for inconsistent habits What your calendar, routines, and habits reveal about what you're truly invested in How to decide if a goal is worth the investment Why your habits are simply evidence of what you've chosen to invest in The question isn't whether you're disciplined enough. The question is: Are you interested... or are you invested? If this episode encourages you, I'd love to hear from you. Stop Chasing Productivity. Start Creating.

In this episode, I explore how constantly striving for productivity can leave us drained, discouraged, and feeling like we are never enough. Instead, I invite you to consider a different perspective. Because you were created in the image of a Creator. Whether you're making dinner, coaching clients, raising children, tending a garden, building a business, or simply creating peace in your home, your life is filled with opportunities to create instead of merely produce. Sometimes changing one thought changes the entire emotional experience of your day. In this episode you'll learn: • Why productivity isn't the only measure of a meaningful life • How your thoughts create the emotional energy you bring into your work • The difference between doing something because you "have to" versus because you get to create • Why creativity isn't reserved for artists • Practical ways to shift ordinary daily tasks into meaningful acts of creation • How this simple mindset shift can reduce stress and increase joy 💜 Next Steps: Please subscribe, like, review and share with your friends! Adaptability Is the Secret to Consistency

Life doesn't always cooperate with our carefully planned schedules. Sometimes family needs us. Sometimes unexpected opportunities come along. Sometimes our priorities shift for a season. The question isn't whether life will interrupt your plans. The question is what you'll do next. In this episode, we're talking about a powerful lesson from James Clear that completely reframed the way I think about consistency: Consistency isn't about being rigid. It's about being adaptable. You'll learn why flexibility isn't weakness, how minimum baselines help you keep moving forward, and why liking your reasons matters more than keeping a perfect streak alive. If you've ever felt like you "blew it" because you missed one day, this episode is for you. Key Takeaways • Consistency isn't perfection. It's continuing to move forward. • Adaptability allows your habits to survive real life. • Missing one day doesn't erase your identity or your progress. • Minimum baselines help you stay connected to your goals during busy seasons. • Every decision is a choice. Learn to like your reasons instead of criticizing them afterward. • Priorities will change from season to season, and that's okay. • You don't have to choose between loving your family well and pursuing your goals. Sometimes the timeline changes, but the commitment remains. • Self-leadership includes extending yourself grace without making excuses. Closing Encouragement Life isn't asking you to become someone who never has interruptions. It's inviting you to become someone who knows how to adapt without quitting. You don't have to be perfect to become consistent. Keep showing up. Keep adjusting. Keep renewing your mind. Small, faithful steps still move you forward.
