    She's 44. Divorced. Child-free. Fine as hell. And she has ZERO regrets about not becoming a mother. Apparently, that's enough to send the internet into a frenzy. 👀 But why is society so uncomfortable with a Black woman who doesn't want marriage and motherhood to define her happiness? This week on SISTERVENTION, I'm sitting down with a woman whose unapologetic TikToks about living child-free have sparked controversy and some VERY strong opinions. As a woman who genuinely wants marriage and children, I had questions. And trust me, we went there! We're talking about: Why she decided motherhood wasn't for her. Being divorced and choosing freedom. The pressure Black women face to become wives, mothers, and caretakers. Why turning 40 isn't the expiration date society makes it out to be.     You Want a Village… But Are You a Villager?

    Everybody wants a village—but are you actually being a villager? We all want friendships where people show up for us, celebrate our wins, support us through hard seasons, remember the important moments, and make us feel loved. But this week on Sistervention, we're turning the mirror around and asking a harder question: Are you the kind of friend you're asking other people to be? We're talking about what it really takes to build meaningful adult friendships, why friendship sometimes requires inconvenience, the difference between reciprocity and keeping score, and why you have to make deposits into relationships before expecting withdrawals. We're also getting into friendship as we get older—when careers, relationships, children, businesses, and life start changing everyone's capacity—and how to recognize the difference between a friendship that's evolving and one that's simply become one-sided.     Always the Bridesmaid, Never the Bride? Let’s Talk About It.

    Love is definitely in the air… maybe not the air I’m breathing, but God is in the neighborhood. 😂 In this episode of Sistervention, Crystal is talking wedding season, friendship, singleness, and why she’s officially rejecting the phrase “always the bridesmaid, never the bride.” After being asked to be a bridesmaid four times—and spending years planning luxury events and weddings—Crystal has learned a few things about what it really means to show up for your friends during one of the biggest seasons of their lives.
