  1. At Home Date Ideas

    At Home Date Ideas

Grace spent some time in the water this past week and got to enjoy holding her scrumptious, sleeping baby boy at the pool, as well as go on a paddle board date with her husband. The only downside was the sunburn she got on her legs while paddle boarding. While Grace does regret not lathering up on the sunscreen, she most definitely does not regret getting some quality time with her husband. Sarah is also excited about the one-on-one time her children have gotten individually recently both her and her husband separately as well as together. This week’s Book Club for 1 novel is a mystery Grace read awhile back, but a listener was interested in Grace’s thoughts on it. Then Grace and Sarah share some at home date ideas and hopefully encourage you to plan an at home date in the next week or two. Sarah shares some paninis she made this past week with some leftover Greek garlic lemon chicken. And Grace brings chicken bacon wraps to the table. No matter how you’re doing motherhood, we’re rooting for you! 2. Surviving Picky Eating & Children's Multivitamins

Surviving Picky Eating & Children's Multivitamins

Grace had a solid week with her brother coming into town and her and her oldest harvesting their very first zucchini of the season. They immediately made zucchini muffins to share with their friends. Sarah may have been tempted more times than she wants to admit by some chocolate chip cookies she made - to the extent of making herself feel like a bad mom when she - may have - eaten a cookie promised to her oldest. But don’t worry, Nora was the real winner when she got a fresh baked cookie out of the oven. Then Grace had quite the scare this week - that almost caused her to call 911 - when her husband didn’t return from his backpacking trip when she was expecting. Thankfully, it was just a big miscommunication. This week’s Book Club for 1 novel is a 4/5 stars read according to Grace, which says a lot considering that’s basically the highest rating she ever gives. Then Grace and Sarah dive into some of the things they’ve learned to best support and encourage their children with eating and trying new foods, as well as some hacks to help your kids get the nutrients that they need. Then if you feel similarly to Grace and Sarah - that your children may not have the most well-balanced diet - be sure to tune in as Sarah and Grace share what they’ve learned about children's multivitamins and their experiences with a few different brands. Sarah shares a shredded BBQ chicken recipe that would be great for someone who likes to go a little more light on the BBQ sauce but also enjoys a good slider. And Grace shares the viral Tik Tok marry me chicken that is sure to impress when hosting. No matter how you’re doing motherhood, we’re rooting for you! 3. Extracurricular Activities for Our Kids

    Extracurricular Activities for Our Kids

Grace came equipped with a few nays this week - one of which being a nay that kind of turned into a yay as her friends rallied around her. To Sarah’s delight, imaginative play has been in full force at her house this week. And her nay might just be the nay of all moms out there - the fact that she does not have a house cleaner. Grace is feeling a bit of an itch to participate in a week long murder mystery based upon this week’s Book Club for 1 novel. And Grace and Sarah share their experiences with putting their oldest kids in extracurricular activities - from why they even wanted to put their children in activities to begin with to what activities their kids have had exposure to so far. They also share some of the fears they have like how to make sure to expose their kids to things they will love but - at the same time - not over scheduling. Then switch up your dinner rotation with a crowd pleaser dinner from Sarah and a solid comfort meal from Grace. No matter how you’re doing motherhood, we’re rooting for you!
