    Don’t Settle—Pray Boldly, Expect Heaven's Help

    Hello, Friend of God! All month, we’re exploring what it means to pray God-sized prayers that stretch us beyond our comfort zones and invite him to do the impossible. In 2 Kings, we read how King Hezekiah faced an impossible threat. Surrounded by a vast enemy army, he brought his fears and troubles before God in the temple and prayed boldly for deliverance—and God answered with a miracle that changed history. When we pray from a place of trust in God’s goodness and kindness, heaven responds to audacious faith. I remember when the pandemic broke out in 2020, a Christian leader in Nashville spoke a prophetic word over me—that I would see miraculous intervention and all my debts, including my mortgage, would be paid off. This year, I witnessed God’s faithfulness: debts erased, land and cars owned outright—a miracle that still humbles me. Let us pray. Faithful God, we bring you every threat, fear, and impossible situation in our lives. In Jesus' name, we do not shrink back in unbelief or settle for safe prayers. Instead, we pray with audacious faith, believing that nothing is too hard for you. Just as you delivered Hezekiah from overwhelming odds, deliver us from every danger, obstacle, or attack that stands in our way. Surround us, our families, and our communities with supernatural protection. Remind us that you are our defender and provider. May your power be revealed and your glory displayed as we trust you for miracles. Amen.

    Happy Labor Day Prayer: Remove Limitations like Elijah

    Happy Monday! Happy Labor Day! Today, as we honor the gift and dignity of work, we’re focusing our prayers on every aspect of our labor—our jobs, businesses, callings, and assignments. Our theme is “Remove Limitations,” inspired by the story of Elijah, who prayed for rain after years of drought and saw God answer beyond natural odds. Too often, we limit what God can do through us and our work. But just as I’ve witnessed God turn around “dead” financial situations in my life, I believe He wants to do the same for you. Let’s pray for supernatural breakthroughs, new opportunities, and extraordinary provision in our lives. God of abundance, we bring you our work, our businesses, and our callings. We confess that we sometimes accept limitations—settling for less, doubting your ability to provide, or giving up on dreams that seem out of reach. This is a new day, and we ask that you teach us to pray super-sized prayers that bring heaven’s answers to earth. Father, in Jesus' name, we ask for big things—breakthroughs that only you can accomplish. Just as Elijah prayed for rain and you sent it in abundance after years of a drought, we ask you to pour out your favor, provision, and opportunities over our work. Remove every barrier, open doors we can’t see, and fill us with fresh creativity. May our work honor you, bless our communities, and reflect your supernatural goodness. Amen.

    Praying God-Sized Prayers: Ask for the Impossible

    Hello, Friend of God! This month, we’re launching a powerful new theme—Praying God-Size Prayers. Throughout September, we’ll be diving into the bold, extraordinary prayers found in Scripture—prayers that dared to ask for the impossible and received God’s miraculous answers. We’ll rotate our focus between the prayers of Jesus, the apostles in Acts, and heroes of faith from the Old Testament. Our guiding verse is James 4:2: “You have not because you ask not.” Let’s refuse to settle for small or safe requests. Together, we’ll be inspired to ask for things only God can accomplish, believing that when we pray God-size prayers, we make room for God-size answers. Let us pray, Gracious, happy God, as we enter this new month, we come to you with expectant hearts. We will not settle for small, predictable, ordinary prayers or limited dreams. We ask for fresh, new confidence to pray God-size prayers—requests so big that only our Abba Father could bring them to pass. Just as Joshua asked for the sun to stand still and witnessed a miracle, we pray for restoration and breakthroughs in every area of our lives. Restore what has been lost, repay what’s been stolen, and refresh our spirits with your goodness. Teach us to pray with faith, specificity, and courage, knowing that every prayer counts and that your power knows no limits. May our prayers shape our destiny and bring glory to your name. Amen.

    The Lord Will Restore, Repay, and Refresh: A Promise from Joel 2:25

    Happy Monday! As we gather for our Workplace Prayer of the week, I have been meditating on the promise found in Joel 2:25: "I will restore to you the years that the enemy has taken." My prayer: God, restore what’s been lost, repay what’s been stolen, and refresh our lives with your goodness. We embrace the assurance that you, our Redeemer, are active in our lives, restoring what has been lost. Strengthen us in the trial. We ask for compensation for our losses—financial, physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational. Remind us that blessings are on their way, as finances will come, and relationships will align. Help us to stand firm and hold our ground, trusting in your lovingkindness as we await your will to be done. May your transformative power guide us in every aspect of our lives, enabling us to walk in your strength and purpose. Amen. And now, I extend this blessing over you: May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God, and of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord; and the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be among you, and remain with you always. Amen.

    Feeling Dry? Let’s Quench Our Thirst for God Together!

    Welcome to our Wednesday prayer time, where we dive deep into the heart of prayer and our relationship with God. This week, we explore the powerful truth found in Psalm 63:1, a verse that reveals our profound need for God. Just as a weary traveler longs for water in a parched desert, we too often find ourselves thirsty for his presence in life’s busy, distracting moments. Join me in praying one of my life verses as we seek the refreshing, fulfilling love of our Heavenly Father and stir up a fresh passion for more of him! Let us pray, Heavenly Father, you are our God, and we earnestly seek you. Today, we come before you in honesty, admitting that the whirlwind of busyness and distractions has left our hearts feeling dry and restless. Forgive us for allowing the noise of life to drown out your voice. We yearn for your presence more than anything else. Lord, let your goodness wash over us like a refreshing stream, filling the empty places in our soul. You are the Living Water who quenches every thirst. We ask that our spirits will rise and be revived as we focus on you. Thank you for the Spirit of Jesus, the overwhelming peace and joy that overflow in our lives. May the Holy Spirit’s presence renew and restore us today. Amen.

    Welcome to our first Monday prayer after the 21 Days of Prayer. We continue to seek God's abundant presence in our workplaces. Just as the apostle Peter’s shadow brought healing and transformation, we recognize that our faith can influence every interaction and endeavor. Today, we pray for courage, confidence, and clarity, empowering us to be steadfast champions of God’s purpose. Let us eagerly anticipate signs and wonders as we carry God’s transformative power into every meeting, project, and relationship. Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before you with hearts full of your love. We thank you for the gift of your presence in our work. Guide us to remain composed and competent in all our tasks. Help us maintain constancy in our faith, even in challenging times. We pray for your favor, for distractions to cease, and for our influence to spark healing and hope. May your glory manifest through us, and may we walk in the power of your might. Amen. And now, I extend this blessing over you: May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

    Welcome to Day 21 of our 21 Days of Prayer: The Miracle of Redemption! Today, we celebrate the incredible truth that no one is too far from being saved, healed, and delivered by God's grace. The story of Saul, who became the Apostle Paul, stands as a profound testament to this reality. As detailed in Acts 9, Saul’s encounter with the risen Christ transformed him from a fierce persecutor of Christians into one of the church's most influential figures. As we wrap up these 21 days, let us pray for the prodigals, for the reach of God’s love knows no bounds. Whether it’s our neighbors, colleagues, famous people that we just know through the screen, or even family members, we believe that the power of God can bring about life-altering change. Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, today we rejoice in the knowledge that no one is too far from your grace. We lift up those who are lost, believing that you can save, heal, and restore. Ignite our faith as we pray for prodigals to return and for miracles to spring forth, with salvation, healing, and divine providence. As the psalmist declares, "You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples" (Psalm 77:14). May our prayers align with your will and resonate with the hope of your promises. In Jesus' name, Amen. I lift my hands like the priest of old and say this blessing over you: May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God, and of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord; and the blessing of God almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be among you and remain with you always. In Acts 12, we see that even in what seemed hopeless, God intervened through his angel, showing that nothing is impossible for him. This miracle encourages us to trust in God, especially when we feel trapped or confined. As we reflect on this powerful event, remember that constant, fervent prayers facilitated Peter's release. This reminds us of the impact of persistent prayer and how collective intercession over these 21 days can lead to divine deliverance. Let's pray together: Lord, we thank you for the incredible miracle of Peter’s escape from prison, a true reflection of your power and faithfulness. When we feel shackled by life’s challenges, remind us that you are greater than our circumstances. Fill us with unwavering trust that no situation is beyond your reach, and may we experience your miraculous intervention. As we celebrate the power of persistent prayer, help us to believe that our prayers, as part of the global 21-day prayer challenge, open the heavens, change the atmosphere, and write a God-kind of narrative for our lives. Jesus, may, through our collective prayers, chains fall off, and we’ll move past the barriers in our lives. Victory and deliverance are near. Amen. Friend of God, this is your moment to embrace His miraculous work in your life! Go forth in peace to love and serve the Lord.
