49 // How I Structured My Creative Business to Work With Limited Time

THE WORK IN PROGRESS CLUB - The monthly reset that keeps your creative business moving forward. Letters filled with prompts, challenges and business chats - delivered straight to your door! Join here → https://www.thecreativejuiceclub.com/workinprogressABOUT THIS VIDEO: How do you structure a creative business when you have no time? I've been running my creative business with 3 kids (including twins), building Artova, and launching new projects - and the only reason it works is because of how I've structured it. This episode breaks down the exact framework I use to grow my business with limited time, so you can build something sustainable without burning out. There's a common assumption that you need more hours in the day to grow a creative business - but that's not what I've found. What you actually need is better structure. My creative business generates income from multiple streams (digital products, subscriptions, evergreen content, software) - and what makes it work isn't hustle, it's intentional systems that compound over time.If you're an artist, illustrator, maker or creative business owner who's tired of feeling like your business only works when you're constantly online, this is the breakdown. This episode is perfect for: Creative business owners with limited timeArtists and makers building around a full lifeSolo creatives who want sustainable growth without burnoutAnyone trying to scale without adding more hoursWHAT YOU'LL LEARN Why you don't need more time - you need better structureHow to make everything in your business serve multiple purposesHow to batch your work by stage (not platform) to save timeWhy building once and using forever changes everythingHow to choose what compounds vs what expiresReal examples from launching The Work in Progress Club MENTIONED IN THIS VIDEO(*Some links are affiliate links, but I only recommend tools I genuinely use and trust.)ARTOVA - the visual hub I built for creative business owners. If you're an artist, illustrator, maker or creative business owner who's struggling to find time to create around running your business, this one is for you! WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: Why your creative time keeps disappearingWhy it’s important to track where your time is actually going so you can start to change itThe batching method that protects your creative time without overhauling your whole weekWhy you don't need a perfect system - just one that holds everything in one placeHow perfectionism is stealing hours from your creative work every single weekWhy protecting creative time is different to scheduling it - and how to make it actually work MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: (*Some links are affiliate links, but I only recommend tools I genuinely use and trust.) 47 // How I Get Brand Deals Without a Big Audience

Try Artova free for 7 days - the system I built for creative business owners to plan content, organise ideas and actually follow through → https://www.artova.io/ ABOUT THIS EPISODE How do small creators get brand deals on YouTube? I've never pitched a sponsorship in my life - yet brands like Wix, Skillshare, Flexispot, BenQ and Domestika have reached out to work with me, even when I had under 2,000 subscribers. This video breaks down the 5 reasons brands reach out to small creators, so you can start attracting brand deals and sponsorships with a small audience too. There's a common assumption that brand sponsorships only go to creators with hundreds of thousands of followers - but that's not what I've seen. Brands actively prefer working with micro influencers (10k-100k) and nano influencers (under 10k), because trust and engagement run stronger at smaller scale. My first paid brand deal was £800 per video for two videos, and what landed it wasn't my follower count - it was the way my content was structured. This video walks through exactly how to position yourself as the kind of creator brands want to sponsor. If you're a small creator, an artist, illustrator, maker or creative business owner who's wondered how to get brand deals on YouTube without a huge audience (or how to attract sponsorships without pitching), this is the breakdown.  This episode is perfect for: Small creators who want brand deals without a big audienceArtists, illustrators and makers looking to land their first sponsorshipNano and micro influencers wondering how to monetiseCreative business owners building income through brand partnerships WHAT YOU'LL LEARN Why you don't need a big audience to land brand dealsThe exact 5 reasons brands started reaching out to me without me pitchingWhy being "easy to understand" matters more than being "polished"Why YouTube outperforms Instagram for landing brand partnershipsThe role of retention in attracting sponsors (and the editing decisions that protect it)Why your personality is the thing brands are actually paying forHow to position yourself as the kind of creator brands want to work with MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE (*Some links are affiliate links, but I only recommend tools I genuinely use and trust.) Neither of those reflects what it's actually like when you're trying to turn your content into a sustainable creative income. In this episode, I'm walking you through the 5 income streams that content can actually build for your creative business - with honest numbers from my own experience across both of my YouTube channels.
