    It’s NFL Combine Time, the Future of Non-Conference Scheduling & Bama Basketball Stays Hot

    On this week's episode of THE DYNASTY, Alabama football legend Trent Richardson joins Chris Stewart, the voice of Crimson Tide football and men's basketball, to discuss the 12 former Alabama players headed to the NFL combine. Can Ty Simpson solidify himself as the No. 2 quarterback behind Fernando Mendoza? Could Germie Bernard end up as a first-round pick? What does Trent remember about his experience at the combine? They discuss all of that and more! Then, the guys dive into the future of non-conference scheduling with the SEC moving to nine conference games. They start the show by sharing their thoughts on Alabama’s incoming football transfer class and wondering if the team has done enough to fix what plagued them in 2025. And while we’re on the subject of the transfer portal, AJ has some serious concerns with the number of players across the sport that entered the portal this offseason. How did we arrive at this point and where is college football headed? Then, the guys weigh in on this year’s national championship game and Curt Cignetti leading Indiana to a 16-0 season. They give Fernando Mendoza his props and break down the play that sunk Miami’s chances of pulling off the upset. And finally, remember former Crimson Tide basketball player Charles Bediako? Well guess what? You can remove the word “former” as Bediako has been temporarily cleared to play for the Tide, despite playing for three NBA G-League teams since leaving Tuscaloosa after the 2023 season.
