    Allan Menzies: Vampire or Cannibal?

In December 2002, a young man disappeared from a small Scottish town, leaving behind a mystery that would unravel into one of the country's most bizarre murder cases. At the center of it all was an obsession with Queen of the Damned, a vampire queen named Akasha, and a man who claimed he had been promised immortality in exchange for taking a human life. But was Allan Menzies truly convinced he was becoming a vampire, or was his supernatural story an elaborate attempt to escape responsibility for a brutal crime? This week, we're diving into the disturbing murder of Thomas McKendrick, where Hollywood horror, bloodlust, and a deadly obsession all collided in a case stranger than fiction. Got a story to tell? Peggy the Doll (This Episode is Haunted)

In 2014, British paranormal investigator Jayne Harris acquired a doll from a woman who claimed it had caused terrifying nightmares, sleepless nights, and unexplained activity in her home. The doll, later named Peggy, quickly gained international attention after photographs and videos of her circulated online, prompting reports of headaches, nausea, disturbing dreams, and even serious medical emergencies. As Harris and her team investigated, they began to suspect that more than one spirit might be attached to Peggy, raising questions about whether the doll herself was responsible for the reported activity. The case eventually caught the attention of Zak Bagans, who featured Peggy on his television series Deadly Possessions. This week, we're examining Peggy's history, the experiences reported by those who encountered her (including my own) and the evidence behind her unsettling reputation. Grab your sage, you’re gonna need it… Got a story to tell? Send it in for the next episode of Boo's Clues! 📬 suspectsandspiritspod@gmail.com And help spread the word! The Corpsewood Manor Murders

On December 12, 1982, deep in the Georgia woods, a secluded castle became the scene of a brutal double murder. Charles Scudder and Joey Odom had built Corpsewood Manor as their dream home, hoping to escape the outside world and live peacefully, surrounded by art, music, and their beloved dogs. But that dream came to a horrifying end when visitors arrived with deadly intentions. What followed was a disturbing story involving allegations of LSD, sexual encounters, Satanism, and even supernatural influence. But behind the sensational headlines and rumors was a far more heartbreaking truth. Join me as we uncover the history of Corpsewood Manor, the murders that destroyed three lives, and the eerie legends that still surround its ruins. Got a story to tell? TalHotBlond: Everybody Is Lying (Part 2)

Part 1 left us with one hell of a plot twist, but somehow, this story is about to get even crazier. When 22-year-old Brian Barrett gets pulled into the already complicated web of lies, he begins a relationship with “Jessi,” completely unaware that she isn’t who she claims to be. Meanwhile, Thomas becomes increasingly jealous, obsessive, and angry as the online fantasy he created begins unraveling around him. Threats are made. Lines are crossed. And eventually, a love triangle built almost entirely on people pretending to be someone else ends with the one person who wasn’t lying about who he was losing his life. In Part 2 of TalHotBlond: Everybody Is Lying, we’re getting into the murder of Brian Barrett, the investigation that finally uncovered the full truth, and the absolutely insane aftermath of one of the messiest catfishing cases I’ve ever covered. TalHotBlond: Everybody Is Lying (Part 1)

What started as an online romance between two 18-year-olds quickly turned into a web of lies, fake identities, and increasingly questionable decisions. Back in 2005, Thomas Montgomery, a 46-year-old former Marine, had been posing as an 18-year-old on a site called Pogo. During this time, he developed a deeply inappropriate relationship with a young, beautiful 18-year-old high school student named Jessi, who went by the screen name TalHotBlond. When Jessi begins another relationship with a younger man, jealousy and obsession begin pushing an online fantasy toward very real (and eventually deadly) consequences. And just when you think you’ve figured out who’s lying about what…think again. Part 2 drops September 30. And it. Is. Bananas. Got a story to tell? The Murder of Sherri Rasmussen: A Deadly Obsession

In 1986, 29-year-old Sherri Rasmussen was found brutally murdered inside her Los Angeles home. While investigators blamed a botched burglary, Sherri’s family repeatedly pointed toward someone much closer to the couple. For 23 years, the case went cold. Until DNA evidence revealed that Sherri’s killer wasn’t a random burglar at all. This was someone from her husband’s past who had spent decades hiding in plain sight… inside the LAPD. This week, we’re diving into the murder of Sherri Rasmussen, the evidence investigators overlooked, and the cold case that finally exposed an LAPD detective. Got a story to tell?
