I listened to this podcast for the first time due to my deep respect for Marco Rubio and his leadership. His honesty and candor truly anchored the interview; however, my goodness, what an unenthusiastic and seemingly inattuned host. Her questions were rather rudimentary and skewed toward negativity, with no reflective or thoughtful transitions to the next. Nevertheless, the couple made the best of the material they were given. Rubio, responded adroitly with transparency, insight, and wit.
I especially appreciated the Rubios’ authenticity as a married couple. They made no attempt to construct a polished façade, and their unfiltered responses were relatable and refreshing.
