    $14 Wine, A Room That Broke Our Brains, and a Man Who Peed on the Street on Date Two

    Karsyn bought two bottles of wine -- for $77 each. Turns out Total Wine sells the same thing for $14; and the guy who sold it to her didn’t say a word. Then Caitlin tells her story of walking into a gravity room completely sober and has not been right since. We’re talking permanent vertigo, an elderly couple that looked like they were escaping the Titanic, and a pregnant woman nobody warned. Since it’s October, we went through every way we’d die in a horror movie. We both try to talk to the killer. One of us would sleep through the whole thing and honestly, we just don’t do well with people trying to tell us what to do. Then we’re off to Feral Feud and trying to figure out the most popular answers to burning questions like: what guys lie about on a first date, what you hope your date doesn’t notice (an ex’s name tattooed on you, anyone?), and the best ghost dating bio. We got “no baggage, I’m already buried” way too late. Two fun ones on Text Him or Wreck Him: He told her in the car that he hooked up with the girl who just hugged her goodbye. And a second date that ended with a guy peeing in the street. One text, one wreck – you might be surprised about this one. Next, we’re getting into more serious conversations like being married and sleeping in separate rooms. Genius or a red flag? Apparently younger couples are trying “sleep divorces,” and we have thoughts. Would you do a sleep divorce? They’re also revisiting Karsyn’s rule for men to keep sim racing rigs out of the living room after some feedback disagreeing (shockingly it wasn’t a woman pushing back on this). Next week is the Halloween episode.     "Beer Isn't Ladylike" and Other Ways to Get Dumped Fast

    Karsyn Elledge and Caitlin Waltrip are back at it this week for another episode of Rare Breeds, and as always, they’re here for a good time. In honor of the start of Spooky Season, Karsyn, in true Karsyn fashion, gives Caitlin a jump scare that nobody saw coming. After that, they’re diving into their usual favorites, starting off with a Messy Draft. This week has us asking the question – what are some things in a man’s house that instantly earns him brownie points (surprisingly, Fireball wasn’t on the list, but a hairbrush is). Next, they put on their thinking caps and play a few rounds of Feral Feud – where we ask them questions other people have answered and see how many they can get right. In Text Him or Wreck Him, they’re weighing in on a situation that left us all a bit uneasy – but of course Karsyn has her own story involving a shirt, a sleepover, and a DM from a guy’s ex about said shirt – you’ll want to hear this one. They also weigh in on a man commenting on a woman’s drink choice and the response from the guy who was buying.  Finally, they wrap up with some listener questions on Ask Rare Breeds, and we find out what their perfect autumn day looks like, and of course, Taylor Swift’s new album.     Five Years Without an “I Love You?!”

    This week on Rare Breeds Caitlin Waltrip and Karsyn Elledge have a new segment for the show: “One of Us Has to Go.” The rules are simple – they’re given situations and they have to decide between the two of them who would be the one to go. From talking their way out of trouble with the cops to getting past a bouncer at a club, there’s plenty to debate. On this week’s Messy Draft, we’re planning our dream dive bars including our house specialty drinks – spoiler alert – Caitlin’s involves Fireball and…Fireball. On Text Him or Wreck Him we hear the story of a woman who says her boyfriend of five years still hasn’t said the three magic words – you can already guess if this is a text or wreck.     Birthday Drinks, Awkward Voicemails, & Open Relationships
