    Standing Against Kairos II: A Christian Declaration with Pastor Regan King

    Red Alert: Mental Health Support in Israel’s Emergency System

    This week’s episode of The Red Alert Report is one that will truly bless and inform you. Aryeh Myers of Magen David Adom’s International Affairs Department—a senior paramedic who witnesses firsthand the physical and emotional toll of Israel’s ongoing crisis- joins us.  Aryeh explains how Magen David Adom is structured and sustained by a global support network, and how its diverse, multicultural teams respond to emergencies across Israel every day. As missile attacks and sudden crises have increased, so has the need for innovative mental health care—not only for the public but also for the brave men and women serving on the front lines. We discuss new pilot programs training paramedics to offer immediate, on-scene mental health support, as well as the vital role of debriefing and proactive care in preventing long-term trauma. These initiatives are already being deployed in high-need areas such as Tel Aviv and the Gaza envelope.
