Elevated Life: Real Wellness and Transformation

Elevated Life

We’re Johnna and Clint, living on Kauai and continuing the same work we’ve been doing for years — only now in a completely different environment. Elevated Life is real conversations about wellness, movement, mindset, and personal responsibility. We take what we’ve already lived and tested and apply it to the new reality of island life: new routines, new stressors, new openings, and the same requirement to stay honest with ourselves. Wellness creates the foundation that everything else stands on. Movement gives us a practical tool to build strength and prove we can do hard things. Mindset drives the decisions that keep us moving forward instead of sliding back. Personal responsibility is the container that holds it all together. None of it works in isolation. We don’t traffic in empty motivation or quick fixes. We talk about nervous system regulation, attachment patterns, shadow work, sustainable training, nutrition without extremes, and the daily practice of not abandoning yourself when life gets uncomfortable. Every tool we share is something we’ve used on ourselves first, including the R.E.B.U.I.L.T. Method and our Parasite Detox Blueprint. This show is for internally driven people who are done with comfortable hell and ready to take ownership of their results. If you’ve already figured out that most of the industry noise doesn’t deliver lasting change, you’re in the right place. We’re not teaching from theory. We’re teaching from the middle of the work — home workouts, relationship friction, spiritual shifts, and the ongoing process of adapting what we know to the life we’re actually living now. We Finally Made It to Kauai and Everything Started Falling Into Place

We are here. After weeks of packing, house drama, a full week of travel down the Washington and Oregon coasts, and more logistics than we care to count, we landed on Kauai. This is a real-time update from our first few days on the island. What we get into: The final stretch leaving Tonasket, the house closing stress, and the moment we finally let it goRoad trip highlights: North Cascades, Forks Twilight reenactment, Cannon Beach tide pools, Pacific City, family time, and the Seattle Aquarium during SeafairArriving with a mountain of bags, a canceled rental car that worked out, and finding a simple island car through pure “talk story” island cultureJohnna landing a job at the Hawaii Surf School beach hut before we even got settledWhy everything has felt surprisingly smooth once we stopped forcing outcomes and stayed in alignmentA note to Tonasket after the recent fire: what actually helps people who just lost everythingWe are adjusting to island time, chickens in the background, and the reality that we live here now. The update podcasts will start tapering off as we get settled. Regular conversations on movement, mindset, and real life will be back soon. Want more tools for your transformation? Why We’re Done Being the Bigger Person and Learning to Trust Our Own Decisions

This one is transparent and intense. We’re in the middle of a mop-up season — packing, closing chapters, Mercury retrograde energy, and old patterns rising one last time. The conversation starts with a hard question: why do people from the past still act like Clint can’t make his own decisions? From there it opens into the real cost of always “being the bigger person.” What we get into: How “being the bigger person” often comes from people-pleasing, fear of abandonment, and unhealed wounds rather than strengthClint’s lifelong pattern of being cast as the background character who can’t handle real responsibility or decisionsA recent reading that named the suppressed creativity and intuition he’s always pushed awayMidnight messages from the past criticizing the move and projecting their own lives onto usThe difference between closing a cycle for yourself versus just trying to quiet the noiseApologizing to yourself for the patterns you allowed, then refusing to keep attracting the same situationsWhy we’re no longer willing to stay quiet or play the role that keeps other people comfortableThis season is ending. The old dynamic of shrinking, following, and absorbing other people’s opinions is finished. We’re moving forward with clearer boundaries and a stronger sense of our own voice. One honest conversation, one closed loop, one decision at a time. Want more tools for your transformation? Get weekly insights and practical takeaways delivered straight to your inbox. 10 Mental Health Tools That Actually Help Stop Overthinking and Protect Your Peace

We pulled together ten straightforward mental health tools that we’ve used ourselves and that keep coming up in our own lives. Nothing new or groundbreaking, just practical reminders that cut through the noise when your mind starts spiraling. What we get into: Stop replaying conversations from days or years ago — your nervous system doesn’t know the difference between past and presentNot every thought is true, especially when anxiety is loud and certainRest is productive — a tired mind sees everything through a darker lensProtect your peace more than your image — you don’t owe everyone an explanationYou’re allowed to outgrow people and places without it meaning they were all badStop fighting your emotions — feel them, let them move through you, and stop labeling them good or badStop comparing your real life to someone else’s highlight reel on social mediaSpeak to yourself with the same kindness you’d offer someone you genuinely loveNot everyone deserves unlimited access to your energy — healthy boundaries matterRemember how much you’ve already survived — you’re stronger than your current struggle wants you to believeThese aren’t sexy fixes or one-time cures. They’re simple practices that require repetition and grace with yourself. Your mind is going to do what minds do. The difference comes in how you respond when it starts. One honest pause, one kinder thought, one boundary held, one day at a time. Want more tools for your transformation? Get weekly insights and practical takeaways delivered straight to your inbox.
