    A 5th Fugazi member? Fugazi is known for it’s core: Ian, Guy, Brendan & Joe but after so many years of playing the same songs it was decided that they needed a change. How to do that? This was an intimidating interview, much like how Spike & The Gimme Gimme’s audience feels prior to them taking as the stage as they know they are going to be blessed with music that could actually cure them of illness. Jake's story isn't the classic: started a band in high school, local show(s), small friend label etc. it's about taking chances on yourself, putting everything you have into something you love and letting passion win over predictability. It's amazing what he and August Burns Red have achieved over the years, and I look forward to seeing it continue. Ray has lived one of the craziest lives, which he tells in his memoir “From Punk to Monk”, we get a tease of what really happened in Ray’s life. The energy, power, and emotion that Ray is able to convey in his performances is unmatched.
