    Secret Memo Reveals Trump's Constitutional Plot ft. Glenn Kirschner

    Gavin Newsom woke up Monday to find federal agents questioning his wife's nonprofit associates — which, sure, could be totally legitimate, except the same administration had just spent Sunday night plastering Trump family crypto ads across a UFC broadcast on the White House lawn while paying fighter bonuses in their own stablecoin. The audacity is almost impressive. Almost. Then Trump flew to the G7 to defend an Iran deal that gives Tehran billions in reconstruction funds — which is bad, unless you remember that giving Iran billions was literally the thing Trump said made Obama's deal a disaster. Glenn Kirschner joins to help us make sense of the legal gymnastics. And buried in a Times investigation that somehow wasn't leading every newscast: senior White House lawyers spent months writing memos explaining why the president probably can't suspend habeas corpus.     MAGA Losses of the Week ft_ Joe Walsh

    Federal judges keep asking the Trump administration for one thing — proof — and keep not getting it. A $1.8 billion slush fund that’s supposedly dead but won’t stay buried. Trump’s name being physically pried off the Kennedy Center as we speak. A UFC fight at the White House that a federal judge reluctantly allowed, but mother nature may have other plans for. It’s been that kind of week. Joe Walsh joins us to break it all down — a former Republican who knows exactly what it looks like when a party loses its mind and decides to just go with it anyway.     They killed the SAVE Act again, and Trump is already looking to dig up the corpse. John Thune told reporters today it’s dead. Which is a win. But somewhere between the voter roll purges, the citizenship requirements, the ICE-at-polling-places threat, and breaking news today that states could lose mail service for refusing to hand over voter data — it’s hard to feel like anyone’s taking a victory lap. Latino voters have been the face of every one of these fights. Pima County Attorney Laura Conover joined Xander and Maritsa Georgiou tonight to explain why that isn’t a coincidence, and what the legal battlefield actually looks like from the Arizona border. Beatriz Lopez from Voto Latino came with the game plan. Midterm prep, real tools for real voters, and specific asks for people who are done just watching.

    Trump Jinx Lives, SPLC Indictment, and The Route to Leaving MAGA ft. Rich Logis

    The Trump Jinx is real; it doesn’t take days off And last night it made a stop at Madison Square Garden. Trump attended last night’s Knicks game, and the crowd booed loud enough that multiple camera angles caught it. He claims it didn’t happen. He was also asleep for a good portion of the game, so maybe he missed it. And if the reception inside wasn’t bad enough, the crowd that gathered outside Trump Tower after wasn’t exactly a welcoming committee either. Meanwhile, the Southern Poverty Law Center just got indicted by Trump’s Justice Department. And today, Republicans finally showed their hand on why. Their argument: the SPLC isn’t fighting extremism. It’s targeting Christians and conservatives. They brought in the president of Alliance Defending Freedom to make that case — which might land differently if the SPLC hadn’t spent years documenting exactly why ADF ended up in their database in the first place. Books comparing LGBT advocacy to Hitler. Attempts to link homosexuality to pedophilia. That’s not a random designation. That’s a file. Bryan Fair didn’t apologize. He explained. And then he delivered the line of the day. Rich Logis, founder of Leaving MAGA, joins to talk about Nevada — where Trump won on no tax on tips and where workers say the drop in business hurt more than the tax break helped. And Pete Hegseth went to Normandy to honor those who died defeating fascism and compared European immigration to an invasion. A French village had already told him not to come. They were right.

    DONALD TRUMP FREAKS OUT THIS WEEKEND

    The White House UFC fight is now facing a federal lawsuit — turns out you can't just build a massive arch over a national monument and skip the environmental review.  Additionally, Trump owns stock in UFC's parent company while personally promoting the event… Interesting. The plaintiffs' attorney called it "a private, commercial, corrupt use of our most sacred national monuments,” but we absolutely have questions. Then there's the Lincoln Memorial pool — $11.3 million over budget, freshly painted "American Flag Blue," and already back in the news because it looks like… Sh*t. Scott Pelley gave his first interview since being fired from 60 Minutes, and it was not subtle. CBS News is, in his words, "on fire." Baratunde Thurston joins from California to explain why Trump's election fraud meltdown on Meet the Press was less about fraud and more about his preferred candidates losing. Also, Dwayne Johnson was invited to perform at the UFC fight. And to the shock of no one, He said no… brutally.

    The U.S. government opened up a Grim Reaper branch, reportedly considering declaring 2.7 million living people dead. Not in a dramatic way. Just quietly. With paperwork. That’s the move. No black ops, no supervillain monologue — just some guy in a cubicle adding your name to a database and watching your bank account, your benefits, and your entire legal existence slowly stop working.  We also touch on how a judge torched the administration’s illegal immigration freeze, Jake Lang lost a battle against wind, Freedom 250 died the embarrassing death it always deserved, and somewhere in Washington, a team of government employees is being paid — with your tax dollars — to scrape Donald Trump’s name off of things.     Why Bolton's Plea Isn't What You Think!

    The ghost of slush-fund past paid Senate Republicans a visit this week. Unfortunately, instead of exorcising it, they voted to keep it alive. After days of congratulating themselves for stopping Trump’s $1.8 billion fund, Republicans were given a chance to actually kill it. The result? Meanwhile, John Bolton is preparing to plead guilty to a felony, as a constant reminder that Trump’s petty-ness holds no time limit. And while Washington was focused on those headlines, Trump quietly signed an order making it easier to remove thousands of career government officials—the very people whose job is often to tell presidents what they can’t do, what a coincidence. The good news is that some of them are already building the resistance infrastructure needed for what’s coming next.
