Eva Aimable-Kolosko: Growth Without Borders | Cultural Intelligence and Global Leadership

Eva Aimable-Kolosko Global Leader & Author Passionate about Cultural Intelligence and Leadership across Cultures. As a child, I wanted nothing more than to stay in one country and to go to the same school. My dad's job had other plans. We moved across countries, and I resented it. Years later, I realized those moves had given me something I couldn't have learned any other way. They taught me how to enter unfamiliar places, listen before judging, and lead people whose experiences differ from my own. I still get things wrong. I am still growing and that's a journey that is unending. But I've learned that trust comes from knowing what you stand for while staying open to how others see the world. Being grounded in who you are and staying true to your values and authentic self. That lesson has shaped more than 20 years of my career. It also inspired me to write Growth Without Borders: A Global Leaders Toolkit, the book I wish I'd had when I was learning to lead across cultures, navigate change, and earn credibility in unfamiliar environments. How to start over again and again while growing your career and family. Today, I work with ambitious professionals and organizations to develop leaders who can build trust, adapt across cultures, and thrive in global organizations. My hope is simple: if one conversation, one story, or one idea helps someone think bigger than borders and become the leader they're capable of being, then I've done my job. Healing, Recovery & Rebuilding Self-Worth with Kerisma Vere | Holistic Wellness

Kerisma Vere Holistic Wellness Coach & Author Focused on Healing, Recovery, and Quality of Life. I’m a holistic wellness coach and author whose work is grounded in lived experience, professional training, and years of supporting others through change. My background includes navigating trauma, mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD, addiction, and significant life adversity. Those experiences deeply shaped both my perspective and my approach. My books and coaching grew out of what I learned the hard way: what does and does not actually support healing, regulation, and sustainable growth. I know what it’s like to have little sense of self or self-worth, and I also know what it’s like to slowly rebuild those foundations through compassionate, attuned support. I’m passionate about helping people develop healthier, more nurturing relationships with themselves, because in both my personal and professional experience, self-relationship is the foundation of quality of life and meaningful connection with others. My approach is trauma-informed, non-prescriptive, and deeply respectful of individual context. Finding professionals who could truly meet me where I was changed my life. That experience is what drives my commitment to offer the same kind of presence to others: inclusive, non-judgmental, and grounded in the belief that everyone matters and deserves respect, even when we don’t see eye to eye. I’m comfortable sharing aspects of my personal history when it’s helpful to the audience, always with care and discernment. My approach centers on what was learned through recovery from trauma, illness, and addiction, with an emphasis on growth, resilience, and regulation. I strive to create conversations that are supportive, thoughtful, and useful for listeners rather than triggering or overwhelming. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. What We Carry: Chizabam Umesi on Trauma, Black Manhood, Fatherhood, Faith & Healing Through Music

Chizabam Umesi What We Carry Chizabam learned early that survival can leave a person carrying things long after the moment is over. He was four years old the first time he learned his mother was dying. At eighteen, he buried her after spending his first semester of college as her son and caretaker at the same time. By nineteen, he was starting over in Dallas with no real roadmap, carrying things he didn't yet have words for. Music became where he put them. An Atlanta-born artist, producer, and storyteller, Chizabam was raised between a Nigerian father's discipline and a Louisiana mother's fire. He came of age around Southern hip hop, street culture, faith, family, and all the contradictions that come with surviving environments that can shape you and scar you at the same time. His new album, *Trauma For Sale*, turns those experiences outward. Through stories about addiction, violence, fatherlessness, teenage pregnancy, sexual abuse, masculinity, faith, suicide, family, and survival, he asks a larger question: **what do people carry from the things they've lived through?** But Chizabam's story doesn't end with music. He's a father, producer, entrepreneur, and lifelong student of history and culture who is just as interested in *why* people become who they become as he is in telling their stories. That makes the conversation bigger than an album. It's about Black life. Manhood. Fatherhood. Faith. Creativity. Survival. The things families pass down. The things men don't say. And what can happen when somebody finally decides to say them. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
