Formed in 1993 in Tampa, Florida, the band carved out a distinct niche by stripping down death metal's traditional hyper-fast tempos in favor of mid-tempo, groove-heavy riffs and ultra-guttural vocals—a sound often described as "death 'n' roll."Both Rob Barrett and Dana Cosley are musicians from the early 1990s Florida death metal scene. Rob Barrett is an American metal guitarist best known for his long-standing work with Cannibal Corpse. Dana Cosley was in an all female metal band called Demonomacy, eventually she went on to tour with Cynic in 1994.1:18 Jeff Hughell SIX FEET UNDER33:52 Rob Barrett and Dana Cosley#podcast #OSDMPodcast#metalpodcast #ExtremeMetalPodcast#DeathMetalPodcast#heavymetalpodcast #metalradio #UndergroundMetalPodcast
