Run for Fun, 5k Launch, BYU shenanigans | Episode 64

It took 63 episodes before the boys were brave enough to sit next to each other and record an episode...here it is in all it's glory. With recovery in full swing and a bit of a running content hangover, it's a shorter episode this week but still packs plenty of good stuff (and some nonsense).

    Special Episode: Coach Macka

Tim And Jerrym sit down with Mackenzie Burgoyne AKA Coach Macka to discuss all the things that lead to Macka running a successful gym and coaching business. From his early days as a country kid with a soccer dream to getting the sack right when he needed the security of a job the most. Macka is transparent and engaging when giving us the insights into him as a runner, a coach, a businessman and a soon to be Father. We hope you enjoy this chat as much as we did!

Getting Race Ready | Episode 62

The boys talk through their prep for the coming weekend's races and give some anecdotal advice that may come in handy. They cover carbs, gear choices, in race nutrition, nothing new on race day (might be some exceptions...), haircuts and plenty more. There's a new sponsor on board in the Scarborough Chiro Clinic/Restore to Perform so have a listen to find out how to secure yourself a discount on your next treatment. Good luck to all who are racing this week and enjoy the episode!

Achilles Tendons, Race Shoes, Melbourne | Episode 61

This week Tim graciously does not rub in the heartbreak that was the AFL Grand Final. Jerrym discusses the balancing act between 1000 beers and still getting some k's in. Tim covers for Jerrym's lack of prep due to said beers and k's by stepping up for an episode of Clinic Corner. Plenty seen on the Internet, a few Run It Or Bin It bits and the usual dribble to fill the gaps! Enjoy!

Mona, Race predictors, Wharfie Time | Episode 60

This week, Jerrym breaks down one of Australian running's most famous workouts, the Mona Fartlek. Tim reveals he has dropped Coach Claude and we discuss what this means for his predicted race times. Fremantle and subsequently Jerrym are on their way to the MCG and Pat Voss may get himself a statue at LCA HQ. Thanks again to our friends at OAT running for supporting Run it or Bin It this week.

    Running Late | Episode 59

Life got in the way this week and the boys had to put in an early shift to get this out this week. Dockers, cross training, sore losers, Tim's return to training volume, sunburn, socks, world ultimate and so much more for your listening pleasure.

    Special Episode: Karl Julius

Tim sits down for a special guest episode with Perth runner, content creator and self proclaimed "Runaholic", Karl Julius (IG: @julius.runs). We chat about fitting 100km weeks around FIFO work and family life, his build towards his first marathon in Melbourne and why he initially skipped the marathon to run ultras first. We also get into the content creation side of running, including Karl's recent challenge of posting 30 videos in 30 days, what he's learnt from putting himself out there and why documenting the process has become part of the fun.
