🎙️ Rebecca — It Could Happen to Anyone

Addiction doesn’t have a type. It doesn’t care what you look like, where you come from, whether you’re a parent, how much potential you have, or what you thought your life was going to look like. It could happen to anyone. In this episode of FUCK…Where Do We Start?, I sit down with Rebecca for an honest conversation about addiction, sobriety, motherhood, relationships, rehab, recovery, and what life can look like on the other side of some really f*****g hard years. Rebecca has been through a lot. Drug addiction. Treatment. Unhealthy relationships. Starting over. Learning how to live differently when the patterns you’ve known for so long aren’t the patterns you want anymore. But her story isn’t only about where she’s been. It’s also about where she is now. She’s a mom. She’s sober. She’s in a genuinely good place in her life, and she’s using what she’s lived through to help other women recognize their own strength and feel empowered to create something different for themselves. We talk about recovery beyond simply getting sober—the relationships you have to reevaluate, the identity you have to rebuild, learning to trust yourself again, and realizing that your past doesn’t automatically get to decide your future. Because the person struggling with addiction isn’t some stereotype or cautionary tale. She’s somebody’s daughter. Somebody’s friend. Somebody’s mom. She’s a whole f*****g person. And it could happen to anyone. 🎙️ “It Could Happen to Anyone” — Rebecca | FUCK…Where Do We Start? 🖤

🎙️ Hailey + Mary — Take Up Some F*****g Space

What happens when you stop trying to make yourself smaller for everybody else?   In this episode of FUCK…Where Do We Start?, I sit down with Hailey and Mary for a conversation about being seen, stepping outside your comfort zone, grief, mental health, trauma, confidence, and figuring out who you are when you finally give yourself permission to take up space.   Hailey and I have known each other since we were little, but life took us in different directions before we reconnected years later. We talk about what it means to push yourself into uncomfortable situations, how grief and trauma change you, and what can happen when you decide to show up even when you’re scared.   Mary brings an entirely different perspective to the conversation. She’s spent her whole life literally standing out—being tall meant being noticed whether she wanted to be or not. We talk about being seen, confidence, learning to own the things that make you different, and what happens when you stop treating standing out like it’s something you need to apologize for.   And somewhere between all of those stories is something I think a lot of us are still learning:   You don’t have to shrink yourself to make other people comfortable.   You don’t have to wait until you’re completely healed to do something scary.   And you definitely don’t have to blend in just because standing out feels uncomfortable.   Sometimes you have to walk into the room exactly as you are and take up some f*****g space.   🎙️ “Take Up Some F*****g Space” — FUCK…Where Do We Start? 🖤

    🎙️ Hunter — F**k It! Let’s Go!

Sometimes you can spend forever thinking about changing your life. And sometimes you just have to say: F**k it. Let’s go. In this episode of FUCK…Where Do We Start?, I sit down with Hunter for a conversation about mental health, addiction, jail, rehab, family, residential treatment, success, and what happens when life forces you onto a path you never thought you’d take. Hunter opens up about addiction and the experiences that eventually changed the direction of his life. We talk about how easy it can be to hide what you’re going through, especially when everyone around you thinks you’re doing fine. But Hunter is so much more than his history with addiction. We talk about siblings growing up in the same family and somehow experiencing completely different childhoods. We talk about pain becoming fuel, success, breaking habits, family, the people who impact us, and lessons you sometimes have to learn the f*****g hard way. I also bring in my experience working in residential care and what that taught me about the human beings behind the behaviors, diagnoses, addictions, and decisions we tend to judge from the outside. This isn’t a neat little before-and-after recovery story. It’s about being a complicated f*****g human being. Making mistakes. Going down roads you never expected. Learning some shit. Changing some shit. And eventually deciding where you want to go from here. Sometimes there’s no profound quote or perfect plan.Sometimes it’s just: F**k it. Let’s go. 🎙️ “F**k It! But, I Love Everyone

In this episode of FUCK…Where Do We Start?, I sit down with Cait for an incredibly vulnerable conversation about mental health, BPD, relationships, parenting, loneliness, and what it’s like trying to navigate life when you’re struggling internally. Cait was nervous to come on the podcast and share her story—and that’s part of what makes this conversation so important. She didn’t come on pretending to have everything figured out. She came on as herself. We talk about how mental health can affect the way we communicate, love, parent, and see ourselves. We talk about feeling misunderstood, feeling alone even when you’re surrounded by people, and how difficult it can be to explain what’s happening inside your own head. We also talk about relationships, the realities of parenting while you’re struggling yourself, asking for help, and why having honest conversations about mental health matters. This episode isn’t about having the perfect answer or the perfect healing story. It’s about being willing to tell the truth about where you are. Because sometimes hearing another person say “I’ve felt that too” is exactly what somebody needs to feel a little less alone. Cait showed up scared, vulnerable, and willing to share her story anyway—and I’m incredibly grateful she trusted me with it. 🖤 🎙️ Full episode of FUCK…Where Do We Start? is now streaming.
