I can’t say enough about how much I love this podcast. I’m a 91 year old theatre enthusiast that can’t attend my favorite pastime as often as I wish. In my next life I’d want to be Peter Filichia’s girlfriend (and I wouldn’t leave early). Listening to this podcast become a lovely morning routine for me, one of my favorite !

I mean…if there was ever any doubt that this podcast was for the oldest of the old, just listen to these curmudgeons talk about “Heathers”. Apparently the lead character’s name is Rebecca & not Veronica? I guess they can’t hear lyrics or read Playbills anymore either. And enthusiasm in the theatre should be curtailed for THEIR comfort? My grandparents have more connection to life in 2025 than any of these folks…& my grandparents are dead. So yes, if you’re retired & are afraid of loud sounds & youthful energy then this is the podcast for you. It gives “Delicious Dish” from SNL parody vibes. 2 stars because they’re all accomplished people but…wow is it embarrassing.

Long time listener here but won’t be listening to the daily episodes anymore. I really liked having a podcast where I could get theatre news on my commute home each day. Lately the format seems to have shifted. I appreciate opinions about shows, but they’re should at least be respectful? Don’t preach about supporting theatre and then talk trash about shows does you personally didn’t enjoy. You’re no better than the NYT critic you constantly complain about. If it wasn’t already clear, I’m referring to Matt - not Grace. I’ll continue listening to the weekly episodes on Sunday, but the daily episodes have become useless to me. ✌🏻
