PFT Live with Mike Florio

Mike and Chris are a fun duo. The former knows how to lead the show and I enjoy his insights from the business side of football. The latter knows his football and football players. Only podcast I listen to for sports. Why not 5 stars? Mike’s gratuitous liberal political opinions. As I write this he’s treating his readers to a column pleading for gun control at the same time he denounces Republicans. And it’s far from the first time he’s channeled his inner Rachel Maddow. It’s a fine line between annoying and tuning out. It wouldn’t be the first time I quit listening to them for this reason.

I would normally give this show a 5 star review. I listen to every episode, they’re the most thorough sports analysts I’ve listened to, and they’re a hilarious duo which is the best part. But censoring the podcast version is pretty disappointing. I generally chose the podcast version because it was the explicit option. Please remove the bleeps. Life is rated R, and the little E on the podcast tag is proper enough warning for people to know what to expect.
