    Metal Geeks 285: Brand New Geekery

    The Metal Geeks are back with another round of brand new geekery! 🤘🎬🎮📚 We kick things off with plenty of news including Wacken 2026 livestreams, King Diamond welcoming Gus G as its new guitarist, the first bands announced for 70,000 Tons of Metal, Hell’s Heroes 2027, the Transformers 40th Anniversary soundtrack, and some Comic Con news that couldn’t wait!.  Then it’s time for What We Watching, with everything from The Odyssey, The Sheep Detectives, Masters of the Universe, and Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender to Batman: The Caped Crusader, Disclosure Day, Ready or Not 2, King of the Hill, and Every MST3K Ever! (That is what it is called!) In What We Marvel, we swing into Spider-Man: Brand New Day and  X-Men ’97.  For What We Gaming, we talk Solateria, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Halo: Campaign Evolved, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and Brutal Dave finally gets around to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Our main topic puts two geeky favorites head-to-head in The Gauntlet Game! It’s a battle of fandoms as we go matchup by matchup, choosing between two iconic choices until only one remains.  Then it's time for George Hates Metal, featuring TodoMal's Lucid Nightmare and plenty of questionable musical opinions.
