We are facing a crisis of masculinity and the latest Cornell 7 sexual assault allegations are bringing urgent questions about power, accountability and the culture we’re passing on to young men into the spotlight. What are we teaching boys about being men? What behaviors are we rewarding, excusing, or staying silent about? And what does it take to break the cycle? In this conversation, Sean and I explore the need for a deeper reform of masculinity, alongside meaningful accountability within the institutions and systems that shape men. For generations, boys have received messages that their worth depends on achievement, status, sexual conquest, and control. Many learn to bury their emotions, hide their vulnerability, and navigate their pain alone. We examine those messages and the ways they can shape our relationships with ourselves, women, and other men. Reforming masculinity requires us to get honest about our own behavior: how we use power, how we respond to rejection, how we treat women, and what we do when another man crosses a line. It asks us to take responsibility for the culture we participate in and help create. In this episode, we explore: • The Cornell 7 allegations, campus culture, and male accountability.• Emotional suppression, shame, entitlement, and objectification.• The courage to challenge harmful behavior in other men.• Accountability, rehabilitation, and breaking generational patterns.• Shadow work, inner child healing, and reconnecting with the body.• How breathwork, men’s work, and brotherhood support personal growth.• Becoming grounded leaders and raising boys with a healthier understanding of masculinity. Our vision is an integrated masculinity rooted in emotional maturity, integrity, compassion, courage, and service. Men who can be trusted with power, remain present through discomfort, and help create safer families and communities.
