Ocean Kegels, Robert Frost and other good news

Jeremiah is exhausted, Annie is taking over, and this episode of What's The Buzz? is about to get WEIRD. 🐝 This week, we're diving into some of our most embarrassing school memories, including Annie's disastrous poetry performance and the time Jeremiah literally dropped out of CLOWN SCHOOL. Then it's time for some Dang, That's Wholesome! We're talking about a newly identified wildcat, the mysterious ocean phenomenon that inspired the phrase "ocean Kegels," late-night soccer in New York City, a Baltimore librarian bringing books directly to kids, and a grandmother who can hold a plank for FIVE HOURS. It's wholesome. It's chaotic. It's educational... occasionally. Welcome to What's The Buzz? ____________________________ Skylar's GoFundMe is still open! Chandler Went From Viral Rapper to Headlining His Own Tour

What happens when you DM a rapper you've followed for years and ask if you can lip sync at his Chicago show?Apparently, sometimes he says yes. This week on What's The Buzz, I'm joined by rapper Chandler — fresh off the night he let me take the stage at his Chicago show for my first ever LIVE LIP SYNC.We talk about the years of work that came before his viral success, why continuing to show up matters more than chasing the next big spike, dealing with hate on the internet, building a real community of fans, and what he's learned on his first solo headlining tour.Chandler also tells the story behind his biggest song, talks about collaborating with Shaq, reveals how he's trying to stop making music for the algorithm, and shares what's behind the much more personal debut album he's working on now.Oh, and Chicago made him drink Malört.Sorry, Chandler.Welcome to What's The Buzz.____________________________We just hit our goal for Skylar's fundraiser. EP8 The World's Longest Meat Snack and other good news | What's The Buzz?

What happens when you combine a record-breaking Slim Jim, a library book that's 132 years overdue, a wedding ring lost on the beach, millions of oysters rebuilding New York Harbor, and a passionate plea to Popeyes? Apparently, you get an episode of What’s the Buzz. This week, Jeremiah and Annie dig into some of the weirdest and most wholesome good news they could find — including a deli owner rewarding kids for good grades, Chile's fight against dog-transmitted rabies, the benefits of reading, and the extremely important new world record for the longest meat snack. Plus: Jeremiah reveals his complicated relationship with the garbage man, Annie considers whether she'd eat a spider, and we close things out with two listener-submitted stories that will make you say…Dang, that's wholesome. Dolly Porton, 2,000 Pairs of Socks & other good news

What happens when nearly 2,000 people take a shot of Malört at the exact same time? What would a Dolly Parton-themed airport actually look like? And how many pairs of socks does one man need before Guinness World Records gets involved? This week on What’s the Buzz, Jeremiah and Annie are digging into some of their favorite funny, wholesome and genuinely good stories from around the world. We’re talking about a Chicago Malört-fueled world record for charity, the campaign to put Dolly Parton’s name on an airport, a man with more than 2,000 pairs of socks, a town that came together to celebrate its beloved postman, encouraging words from an internet mom, and the Pokémon community rallying around a kid after he was scammed out of one of his prized cards. Plus, we recap Bee Week and the hundreds of people who showed up to help Skylar’s fundraiser. Sometimes the internet is terrible. Sometimes it reminds you just how good people can be. A Prophet Broke My Heart | What's the Buzz?

Jeremiah wanted a sign from God. Unfortunately, he got one. This week on What's The Buzz, Jeremiah introduces a brand-new segment called Not My Proudest Moment with the story of a two-year crush, a visiting prophet, and one painfully clear message...and somehow, that's only the beginning. Jeremiah and Annie also share the story of a Wendy’s employee whose bosses helped him pursue his dream of college, a kitten rescued from the bottom of a pipe, and a baby otter brought back with CPR. Plus, they look back at Dolly Parton’s extraordinary legacy of generosity, Jeremiah announces his latest ridiculous adventure—opening a rap show by lip syncing—and a viewer submission proves that one small act of kindness can turn into an 11-year tradition. Funny stories. Good people. Questionable decisions. HotWheels Gelato + Modeling and Mental Health with The Model Nurse

What's the Buzz has a brand-new format — and Annie is officially joining the shenanigans. This week, Jeremiah and Annie dig into some of the weirdest and most wholesome stories they could find: a tiny kitten with a wheelchair made from Hot Wheels, a heavy metal concert inside a hospital, scientists turning to "OnlyMarms," more than 22,000 Pitbull fans in bald caps, and one small act of kindness at a grocery store. Then Jeremiah sits down with model, nurse, and mental health advocate Diana to talk about the lip sync collaboration that brought them together, finding purpose in creativity, rebuilding your life, and learning to give yourself permission to change. Sometimes doing good looks profound. Sometimes it looks like putting Hot Wheels on a kitten. ____________________________ We are still in the middle of Skylar's fundraiser. How a Dumb Lip Sync Became Something Bigger - with Joe Reeves

Joe has been part of the shenanigans almost from the beginning. In this episode of What's the Buzz?, Jeremiah sits down with his longtime friend and fellow creative to talk about how a ridiculous lip-sync fundraiser turned into something neither of them could have predicted. They unpack the friendship behind the scenes, the moment they realized the campaign was actually going to work, their favorite videos and comments, and why doing something incredibly silly in service of something incredibly meaningful just…works. More than anything, Joe shares his hope for where this all goes next: that a little radical generosity might inspire a whole lot more people to go out and do crazy good. ____________________________ We are still in the middle of Skylar's fundraiser. How Rebekah Accidentally Joined the Shenanigang

Meet Rebekah—the creative mastermind behind some of our favorite viral shenanigans, and someone who accidentally became a central figure of our creative enterprise. What started as an offer to help with makeup quickly turned into horse heads, Lord Farquaad, fog machines, questionable creative decisions, and the origin of the most important video we've done so far. In this episode of What’s the Buzz?, Rebekah joins me to talk about how she accidentally became part of the team, rediscovering creativity after burnout, the weird collaborative process behind the lip sync videos, and why doing ridiculous things to help people might just be her new definition of success. Come for the behind-the-scenes stories. Stay for the shenanigans. ____________________________ We are still in the middle of Skylar's fundraiser. When Your Own Body Turns Against You - Skylar's Story

I sat down with Skylar to tell the story that couldn't fit into our social media videos. The full story. After a serious car accident led to the discovery of malignant tissue on her thyroid, a series of medical complications turned into a seven-year battle with chronic illness, countless hospitalizations, and overwhelming medical debt. Despite everything, Skylar continues to approach life with resilience. Skylar is someone who has been through hell over the last seven years, and I cannot wait to change her life. The Most Public Secret Ever - Now Annie Answers Your Questions

The fundraiser is over... but the story is just beginning. For the first episode of What's the Buzz?, I sat down with the one person everyone has been asking to hear from—my wife, Annie. Annie shares what it was like discovering my shenanigans, watching millions of people rally around her, and processing the whirlwind that followed. Along the way we revisit the hardest seasons of our marriage, the financial struggles, Annie's battle with endometriosis, ridiculous bee stories, and why we believe this platform can become something much bigger than just one viral moment. This isn't just the story behind the lip sync series. It's the beginning of what's next.
