Every Day Carry: A Daily Word for Men

MensMinistry.online

Every man carries something. The question is whether you're carrying what God gave you to carry — or something you were never meant to hold. Every Day Carry is a daily devotional podcast for men who are done settling for less than who God actually called them to be. Five days a week, host Brian Crum opens Scripture in its real context — no feel-good reinterpretation, no fluff — and hands you one clear charge to carry into your day. Each week follows a single theme, from leading your household to guarding your mind to standing firm under pressure, so the Word builds on itself instead of scattering. This isn't a show for men who want to feel better about staying the same. It's for husbands, fathers, workers, and leaders who want real brotherhood, real accountability, and a faith that shows up Monday through Friday — not just on Sunday. Take up your cross daily, and follow Him. That's Luke 9:23. That's the charge. Let's carry it. 🎙️ New episodes every weekday, 5-7 minutes each  🤝 Brought to you by MensMinistry.online — Stand Firm. Act Like Men: Courage Done in Love

Send us Fan Mail "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." Week 8 closes on the verse this whole ministry is built on. Brian shows how "act like men" connects back to God's command for Joshua to be strong and courageous, and why verse 14 is the point of the whole week: courage without love becomes the very thing we've been grieving. Biblical manhood is strength spent protecting people, never taking from them. It's also a call to the man who once stood silent in a room: don't bury it. And it sets up next week, because the charge is to be a godly man of integrity, and to raise one. Today's charge: Tell a brother which room you'll speak up in, and ask him to hold you to it. Make right anything you stayed silent on. Then ask your son, or a young man you mentor: "If you were in a room where a girl was being hurt, what would you do?" If you or someone you love has been affected by sexual assault, call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 800-656-4673. Do Justice, Love Kindness: When the Internet Becomes a Courtroom

Send us Fan Mail When a story like this breaks, the internet turns into a courtroom with no rules. Micah 6:8 gives a better way: do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with your God. Brian explains why biblical justice requires truth first, why slow to judge cuts both ways (don't name the accused, and don't write off the woman whose story got complicated), and why being slow to judge is not the same as not caring. If the allegations are proven, consequences should be severe. And Brian turns it on himself too: check me, I'm not a pastor, open the book. Today's charge: Pray out loud for everyone involved on every side, then guard your mouth. No names, no speculation, and take down anything you've posted that you can't back up. If you or someone you love has been affected by sexual assault, call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 800-656-4673. Found None: Will You Stand in the Gap?

Send us Fan Mail God looked for one man to stand in the breach, and He found none. For the first time, Every Day Carry is building a week around a story in the news. The reopened Cornell case has men asking where the men in that room were. Brian asks a harder question: where are you? He's careful about what's known and unknown (nothing alleged has been proven in court, and no one is named), then turns to Ezekiel 22:30 to show what standing in the gap actually means. It's prayer that gets up off its knees and does something, and it's possible because Christ already stood in the breach for us. Today's charge: On paper, list every room where you might be the only man willing to speak up, and the last time you stayed quiet when you shouldn't have. Keep it with you all week. If you or someone you love has been affected by sexual assault, call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 800-656-4673.
