The name keeps no secrets. Brad and Dale host a collection of interviews with friends of a certain age that have lived some life and have a few stories to tell. The hope is to elicit some humor, wisdom, and reflection - all in the spirit of storytelling and posterity for their own people.

Episodes

Patrick O'Hara: Farms, Justice, and Martina McBride

Brad and Dale reap the nuggets of wisdom from Western Oklahoma's finest son, Patrick O'Hara. The range includes the Elk City mascot, female country artists from the 1990s, how to use the phrase "soft focus", legal proceedings, and his new found passion for officiating weddings (he's really good at it). Enjoy the rap session. His country drawl is smoother than Jodee Messina's high notes.

  2. Sep 23

    Jamie Adamson: Preschool Acquaintance

One of our besties (as the kids say) comes on the pod to talk how crucial he was to solving the Y2K problem, IT changes over time, why he can't sit down and just relax, pre-school memories (or lack therof), and local OKC celebrities. Sit back, ask Jamie to program your VCR, and enjoy.

    Ben Russ: West Texas Lawman

Ben Russ makes an appearance as the first real guest of FOBAD (Friends of Brad and Dale). The trio talk about growing up in West Texas, how a perfect golf shot shaped his career, stalking his future wife, his undying respect for his elders, and how he hasn't earned the right to wear a cowboy hat. We also discuss the unexpected early reach of the podcast to the Far East.

  4. Aug 20

    Episode 2: Dr. Brad Carter

Dale interviews Brad about early influences, why nephrology was the choice for him, and about his love story that started with the Oklahoma Gazette.

  5. Aug 20

    Episode 1: Dale Stewart

Brad interviews Dale to kick things off. We talk about Dale's varied careers, his core values, and how he could not have survived rural living.

  6. Aug 20

    Pilot: How Dare We?

Brad and Dale try to lay out their rationale for putting this podcast together. What gives us the right?
