Good start
I was referred to this podcast from survivalist prepper. This podcast is more up my alley than most prepper podcasts. I live in a city with 5k population with no off grid land of my own, so this podcast help with thinking like an urbanite and not like a recluse. His voice has a lulling effect so you might feel the need to take a nap but it's not a terrible thing. He could go into more depth on issues but great podcast otherwise.
Great Podcast
An all around great show for any one interested in prepping. Unlike other shows, this show takes a practical approach to the possibility of a disaster and the preparations needed.
Great info on an oft pooh-poohed subject
I live in a large metro area and am interested in preparedness, but have grown a little tired of the paranoid prepper snobs who think the city is an instant death trap. I can't afford a plot of land to fortify against the world, so I need to make do with what I have, which is an apartment in the city.
Greg does a great job talking you through the steps he's taken and makes preparedness seem really attainable and sustainable. He doesn't get into a lot of politics, and as a moderate I appreciate that. He sticks to the important stuff, which is staying alive.
Greg, if I'm ever in Seattle I'd love to buy you a beer.
