Recommend for anyone interested in yoga

Sure, Ashtanga is in the title and the guests and hosts all practice Ashtanga Yoga. However the conversation goes so much deeper than asana. I’d recommend to anyone interested in yoga.

Great yoga podcast

This is a great podcast for those interested in yoga as a whole, not just Ashtanga or asana. Peg and her daughter interview people on a wide range of interesting topics. Very engaging conversations. I highly recommend it.

Excellent and filled with insights

I really enjoy this podcast - Peg and her daughter interact so sweetly with each other, you can tell they have a close relationship; and it's good to hear these organic conversations that often lead to some deeper insights about being a yoga practitioner in our modern, crazy world; you realize these senior teachers are just living their lives, trying to do the best they can - like most of us; and that lifelong practice does have an impact on wellbeing and wisdom, too. I would love to hear more interviews of older non-authorized Ashtanga teachers and/or second generation teachers (i.e. students of the senior teachers in the community) that is, interviews of teachers who have quietly worked in the trenches teaching for a long time. There's a lot of wisdom there, and maybe even some healthy iconoclasm, too; it would be good to hear these folks' perspective about Ashtanga teaching and practice, as it is a not considered or valued within our small worldwide community of Ashtanga that tends to center the voices of a handful of well-known teachers.
