Juicebox Podcast: Type 1 Diabetes

Idc how corny it sounds. Juicebox podcast literally saved my sanity and my son’s health. Our medical team provided no additional information besides basic brochures about type 1 diabetes. I had to take the initiative to join Facebook groups, and started listening to this podcast. I have never listened to any podcast before, but I thankfully learned about Juicebox podcast pretty early on. I can’t say enough good things about all of the information I have learned here. The bold beginning series was the perfect starting point, and utilizing the website in tandem to the podcast is fantastic. Very easy to find episodes that will be helpful to you. No matter how you are affected by T1D, you will absolutely benefit from listening!

Life saving advice right here! Newly diagnosed or otherwise, this podcast is reliable, informative, and relevant to managing Type 1 diabetes. Our three year old has maintained a healthy A1c of high fives directly related to the valuable information from the podcast. We are determined to have healthy outcomes and listening to this podcast daily has helped with that! Highly recommended!

I became a late in life diabetic 71 now 74. I am a T3. I was exposed all my adult life to someone who used insulin so this wasn’t new. What was new was technology and the real science of diabetes. Between Scott, Jenny and all the participants in the episode episodes I’ve learned so much more than an Endo could teach. I appreciate the honesty empathy and the compassion. Listening to the episodes helped me understand that I can do this.

There is a lot of information, however there is a lot of repetition and the host is obnoxious. He is busy talking about himself versus the information needed. It would also be helpful if the titles told the user what the podcast subject is so that they can listen to podcasts about a needed subject.
