Plea to Critical Darlings

I really enjoyed the first episode of Critical Darlings and it was great to have something on the Blank Check feed during that off week. Still, a gentle reminder the hosts that many of the movies they’re discussing in passing are ones that large parts of the country haven’t been able to see yet. So, when you talk about The Secret Agent or Sirât and give specific information about the ending, you are spoiling the movie for many people. If it’s an episode devoted to that movie, we can choose to wait to listen to it until we’ve seen the movie, but there is no warning when a passing mention ruins the twist of the entire film. Thank you for taking this into consideration and keep up the good work.

The critical darlings miniseries is really bad. They’re not funny like Griffin and David and spent the first episode basically just talking about themselves. You have to at least be funny, that’s why we listen to the show.
