Jade, Fran, and Keia continue to explore the nuances and complexities of the HBCU Experience
with a discussion that illuminates the intersection of race and social class. Special guest, HBCU
Assoc. Professor Steve D Mobley, joins the conversation offering some history and insight
around how social hierarchies are established, sustained and experienced at HBCUs. Concepts
such as elitism and class-passing are also explored.

A fun and flavorful discussion of the role and impact of food and food culture on the HBCU experience. This episode features the compelling stories of food experiences and the favorite food memories of HBCU students/alumni.
