A true girlfriend in my head
I had the pleasure of watching an IG live of yours which brought me to tears. The passion and emotions are moving. This live lead me to follow your page and actually listen to your podcast! There are no words to describe your topics, and strategies use to just engage your listeners to think and reflect. I love your sense of accountability and ownership with what you've been through and realizing you're not a saint! Listen, you're indeed a girlfriend in my head and when I'm experiencing something I can now run back and listen to your words of wisdom. I swear you're the Caribbean Iyanla Vanzant and I love it. The gift God has bestowed upon you is no match for the trials and tribulations he's brought you out. You're a witness and I truly appreciate you, you're encouraging me to one day speak my truth so I can help others.

In My Head with Jay BlessedPodcast Review
There are podcast and there are PODCASTS! “In My Head with Jay Blessed” is most definitely and undeniably the latter. I’ll be frank. The podcast moniker is at worst a lie and at best woefully under representation the truth. Seriously, I listen and find myself informed, enthralled, emotionally triggered, having a therapy session, finding mental kin folk, challenged, entertained, and cerebrally and audibly stimulated. I don’t know if it’s a podcast or a college class. I don’t know if it’s a podcast or a long talk with a dear friend. I don’t know if it’s a podcast or a an evening with grandma as she makes everything better. I don’t know if it’s a podcast and backstage pass and a passport to access spaces and people that I wouldn’t normally get to engage with or be in. I don’t know if it’s a podcast or a therapy session. I don’t know if it’s a podcast or if it’s just something that’s necessary more the overall health of your mind and soul.
What I do know is the name of the podcast should be immediately changed from “In My Head with Jay Blessed” to “In Your Head, Heart, Feelings, Trauma, and Growth with Jay Blessed”
If you’re still debating about subscribing and binge listening… you’re playing yourself.
I am so blessed to have come across this podcast. So authentic. You can tell Ms. Jays all is put into this. It’s worth the listen. From traumas, to laughs. When I listen to her I feel as if I am talking to/listening to my home girl. Just so pure & real. I love JayBlessed!!
