    Boredom is a feeling and feelings are the language of the body.

    Feelings are the results of thoughts so if and when we are bored we don't want to rush and kill the boredom with any stimuli and instead we want to get curious and understand why what we are thinking that makes us feel bored.

    Boredom is the lack of stimulation, but is different from apathy where we are accepting the status quo, and instead we want to do something about it.

    Why only 5% of the world's population practices mindfulness

    Mindfulness and meditation are practiced today by only 5 % of the world's population. 

    95% of people either cannot see the point or are not committed enough to stick to this ancient practice.

    Why? 

    This was my question and now I have the answer.

    This week I am reframing this activity, breaking it down to its basic component and I am sharing with you why I finally got myself and my clients to adopt it. We have the compelling reason we want to get the new habit to stick.

    Spoiler: I am not asking you to sit for four hours on the top of the Himalaya - I promise you.
