    5: Steve Perry

    5: Steve Perry

You know the voice and you know the songs: “Any Way You Want It,” “Oh Sherrie,” and of course, the perennial fist-in-the-air power ballad (and “Sopranos” finale soundtrack) “Don’t Stop Believin'.” All those great lyrics and melodies came out of the heart, mind and larynx of one man: Steve Perry. After leaving Journey and stepping back from his successful solo career due to what he calls “PTSD,” he’s back with “Traces” (Fantasy Records). Get the full story on his long hiatus, the heartbreaking motivation that brought him back to music and much, much more.

Where did this go?!

This is (was?) one of the best music podcasts and really bummed they have stopped releasing episodes. How do you have a podcast with huge names like this and just stop? Did Joe get another podcast or something?

Megyn Kelly

I am writing to ask you to have Megyn Kelly on your podcast. She had you on her show countless time and I, for one, would love to hear how she is doing since NBC cancelled her show. Thank you for your consideration!

Rolling Stone and Billboard - Joe Levy!

Someone in marketing might want to market by announcing your host. I found this by chance - I’m always looking for a decent music show with a host that knows his subject, how to hold a genuine conversation and doesn’t mistake volume for humor - I’ve been consistently name-searching Levy, hoping he’d land in Podlandia. Put his name on it, they will come!
