In this episode of insPAWed, we sit down with Erin Erler, owner of Cakes by Erin, to share the extraordinary bond she shared with her soul dog, Bo. Just months apart, Erin and Bo were both diagnosed with cancer. Throughout Erin's treatments, surgeries, and recovery, Bo never left her side, offering comfort, unconditional love, and quiet strength when she needed it most. During one of Erin's surgeries, Bo's own condition took a heartbreaking turn. While Erin was still recovering in the hospital, Bo crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Although they couldn't say goodbye in person, Erin believes Bo waited until he knew she would be okay before letting go. Their journey together became the inspiration behind Bo's Blessings, a nonprofit dedicated to helping families facing the financial burden of caring for pets with cancer, ensuring more people can focus on making memories with the animals they love.     How Stella the French Bulldog Became a Therapy Dog Loved by the Community

    In this episode of insPAWed, we sit down with Chuck Chopak of Team Stella to explore how his French Bulldog Stella became a nationally certified therapy dog making a difference throughout the Haverhill community. From the very beginning, Stella and Chuck formed a close bond. Because Stella had not yet completed her vaccinations when she first came home, Chuck carried her everywhere in a front sling during her early months, creating a strong connection that only deepened over time. Known for her friendly personality and love of people, especially children, Stella naturally connected with everyone she met during daily walks through downtown Haverhill. After completing Canine Good Citizen training, Chuck and Stella were encouraged to explore therapy dog work, eventually becoming a nationally certified Pet Partners Therapy Team. Today, Team Stella visits skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the area and participates in Stories with Stella at the Haverhill Public Library, where children read to Stella during special sessions designed to build confidence and connection.
