Hi, I’m Jenilee Samuel! As a 4-boy mom, Pastor, & Wardrobe Stylist, I have a heart to help people learn to hear God's voice & have fun doing it! It's not complicated, but I find that most people don't believe they CAN hear His voice... however one word from Him can change EVERYTHING. I don't pretend to be perfect, but I hope to encourage & inspire you with authenticity & practical tools. I love doing REAL LIFE with REAL PEOPLE who want to deepen their relationship with Jesus, hear His voice, & be the best version of themselves. With coffee in hand & real life in our faces, let’s do this!!

This episode, recorded with Kala Yoder for the "Confidence in Christ" Podcast, is a glimpse into Jen's other-world... her journey into the Fashion industry as she held hands with the Lord and followed his unexpected instructions for her life. Many Christians feel like being concerned with fashion and style is to be carnal, fleshly, materialistic or vain. So, when the Lord interrupted her path to full time Ministry in order to shift her life steps into the fashion industry and business world, it was a head scratcher for some. As Jen searched the Word to discover how God feels about clothing, style, and dress, she had a major epiphany that he cares VERY much about it. It caused her to shed some religious beliefs and burdens she had grown up with that really did not reflect God's heart.
You'll discover that Jen also has a course called "Fashion|Sense: Two hours to a more stylish you!" Where she breaks down the most vital information she has learned in styling over 9,000 people to help them have a fashion transformation that enables them to love and honor the body God gave them, feel like themselves in their own clothes, and look amazing without the stress and overwhelm. You can find that Course here: https://jsamuelstyling.samcart.com/products/order-workshop

Have you ever felt like or even overheard people say (or maybe even been told) that getting counseling means you're not trusting God to handle your problems? Whether you've been taught this concept or simply "caught" this concept from the environment around you, then you'll want to listen to today's episode. We are built in God's image, body, soul, and spirit, and we have all accepted the importance of Pastors to help us oversee our Spirits, we have doctors to help us oversee our health... but somehow it's considered taboo to have a counselor to help oversee our soul's health. Well, if you've ever wondered about this topic, this episode is for you. Let's jump in!

EP128- Saving Hollywood w/Hollywood Prayer Network Founder Karen Covell
Treat Jen to Coffee www.PATREON.COM/JAVAWITHJEN
———————————————————
How do you become a woman making history? One faithful step at a time.
Are you TIRED of how it seems that the Entertainment industry has it OUT for our kids? Recently it has become so obvious that this industry has been using their influence against our children's hearts and minds more than ever before. Well, over 30 years ago, Karen Covell saw a solution that few were willing to take on: PRAYING for Hollywood... praying for celebrities by name! The solution to taking back what the enemy has stolen is not to run for cover, but instead, to literally TAKE. IT. BACK. And prayer is the greatest vehicle (among many!) that the Lord has given us to do that. In this episode, Karen shares her powerful vision, as a Producer married to a Composer, of taking back Hollywood for Jesus through prayer. Her stories are powerful and our conversation dynamic! If you've been looking for a way to influence this industry SOMEHOW, you can sign up to be an intercessor for a believer in this industry who needs prayer coverage. YOU can make a difference. Your prayers can impact people's lives in powerful ways, AND when they're involved in this industry, your prayers may be impacting hundreds, thousands, or more! Remember, the way you eat an elephant, is one bit at a time. The way we change the industry, is one prayer at a time, one person at a time, backing the lives of those who feel called to this industry. Don't forget to share this episode with your bestie! Let's dive in...

Treat Jen to Coffee
———————————————————
Everyone has been talking about Asbury College this last month, including secular media outlets, wondering what is causing this stir of hungry believers to travel across the country and discover what's happening there? One word that is being consistently used to describe what's happening at Asbury is "Revival". Now, to those who've been around church for any length of time, this is not a new phrase, but it may be causing a lot of questions to the surface like, "What exactly IS revival?" "Why are they calling what's happening at Asbury, revival?" or "How is what's happening there unique?" If you've been curious about what's happening at Asbury, or around the topic of Revival period, my guest Larry Sparks is a revivalist and carries this message of stirring the church to a deeper hunger for the Lord around in his heart. This episode is both vision casting, and practical daily application, inspiring and encouraging. Let's jump in! ———————————————————

EP126- DIVINE DETOUR: How Following God's Leading Led Jerry Loncon into Movie Making
BUY JEN A COFFEE: Venmo: @javawithjen
--------------------------------------------
Have you ever been discouraged by feeling like your dreams were taking off, and then some horrible interruption to your life, or even a trauma, derailed that train and left you feel like you were spiraling to even make sense of your world anymore? You're not alone. AND, it's not the end. Ironically, it's often just part of the journey. But the beautiful thing is, you can see God in it when you look back, if you stay the course and allow God to walk with your through your process. In today's episode, Jerry Loncon, Owner of Studio 220 Films and Director of the movie "The First Step" shares his story of how God ordered his steps even from his early youth in and out of film making, how he navigated when it seemed like his dream had utterly died and become impossible, into how the Lord would walk with him into pursuing that dream once again. The common denominator? Hearing God's voice guided him through his journey. And it'll encourage you in yours!

LEARN MORE ABOUT JERRY
"All my life I have felt like God was training me for this…but I never had the proper equipment to do it justice…or the time to do it right. Not to mention a group of people on fire like I am, who want to get together and make all kinds of films to get the Word out.
Well now, thanks to my wife (and Executive Producer) Julie who has had ROCK SOLID faith in my ability to craft these stories, I HAVE the proper equipment. Also thanks to God for giving me the courage to take a giant leap of faith, I have the time. NOW all I need is a group of “on fire for God and film making” people who want to join in.
