Then we pay tribute to slain Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil, a brilliant and courageous correspondent for the Al-Akhbar newspaper who was killed in an Israeli airstrike yesterday in the town of Al-Tayri. After surviving an initial drone strike on a nearby vehicle, she and her colleague sought shelter in a home. The Israeli military then dropped a bomb directly on that building. It’s being called another targeted assassination of journalists by the Israeli Defense Forces. Dr. Jonathan Caravello was arrested following an ICE raid that led to the death of 57 year-old Jaime Alanis Garcia who was being chased by ICE agents when he fell 30 feet onto concrete.
