    Presence, Creativity and Trust

Finding Stillness in a Busy Life Life can feel a little or a lot overwhelming and busy. Our minds can follow these rhythms if we are not aware and allow that to happen. We can go from one task to the next, one worry to the next. In this episode, we explore the simple practice of returning to the present moment. Through allowing our minds to come back to center, allowing ourselves to come back to the moment, to where we are on this earth, we can center. Through mindfulness, small creative moments, and a gentle reflection on fatih and trust, this episode invites you to pause and reconnect with what is happening right now. You'll also hear how creativity- whether painting, journaling, cooking, you fill in the blank, can help quiet the mind and bring you back to a place of calm. In this episode we explore: Returning to present momentHow creativity can calm the mindA simple one-minute mindfulness practiceTrusting the process and taking small steps of faithA small practice for today: Take one minute to pause. Notice your breath, your surroundings, and how your body feels. If you'd like, try a creative act-a few lines in a journal, a quick sketch, a new recipe, or simply doing something with your hands while staying present. Let it be simple, let it be imperfect. Presence often begins with one small moment. I would love to hear your thoughts on your creative choice. Let me know-info@lavendermind. com Have a wonderful day! Thank you for being here! Big Trust, Puppies and Pillows

Trust sounds spiritual....Until my nice pillows are chewed! ???? What does trust look like in real life? Sometimes it looks like a brand-new puppy. Chewed pillows. And standing in the middle of what looks lide snow-except you live in southern Louisiana, and it's actually pillow stuffing scattered everywhere. In this episode, we talk about trust as a practice, not a personality trait. Not something you "have" once life feels safe-but something you return to again and again, right in the middle of uncertainty, mess and everyday moments. We explore: -Why trust is really about where your attention goes -How gratitude gently calms the nervous system without pretending everything is fine -What it means to regulate worries to the periphery instead of letting them sit at the center of your mind -And how coming back to center-again and again-is its own form of trust This is a quiet reflective episode, with a little bit of life humor that I seem to never escape. It is a reminder that you don't have to solve the worlds problems or your own to feel into this Trust. We can always choose where our attention goes. Closing idea- "I come back to center, again and again." If you enjoyed this, share it with someone you think would enjoy it. I always appreciate you being here! If you would like to get in touch with me. Info@lavendermind.com Thanks and have a wonderful day!!!!
