How My Family Quit Being Busy for a Season, #76

How My Family Quit Being Busy for a Season, #76

In this reflective episode, I recap my family's spring, focusing on our decision to forgo intense sports and embrace a simpler, more intentional season. I share insights on the benefits we experienced, including less stress, improved mental and physical health, and more quality family time.

    Benefits of Our Simpler Spring:

    Less Busy Schedule

    Increased Quality Time

    Improved Mental Health

    Better Physical Health

    Focus on Important Activities

    Observations:

Kids spent more time outdoors, playing together, and exploring hobbies.

Mom found more time for personal projects, like her podcast and writing a book.

The family experienced a lighter, more focused, healthier, and less frazzled lifestyle.

As I reflect on the success of our spring experiment to quit being busy, I’d like to encourage listeners to consider experimenting with simplifying their schedules to reduce stress and improve family well-being. I can’t emphasize enough the importance of taking time to regroup, reset, and find clarity.

Feel Like You’re at the Mercy of Your Circumstances? You Have Power Over Your Life with Lorena Schuth, #74

Feel like you’re at the mercy of your circumstances? Think again. You have power over your life! Today’s guest is Lorena Schuth, a self concept and manifestation coach with us from Germany, to teach us about the power of manifestation and how it can change our lives.

It is Lorena’s mission to show you that you don’t have to betray yourself, lie to yourself, deny your true beliefs or micromanage your emotions in order to create the reality you desire.

    We discuss:

Tapping into our subconscious beliefs and patterns to impact how we show up for ourselves and in our relationships.

How everything is manifested in life and how we can use that to our advantage.

The mind-body connection and how manifestation affects the nervous system.

How to get our subconscious out of autopilot to break negative patterns.

The wisdom in slowing down and what comes of time in “the nothing.”

The value of allowing ourselves to be loved and supported.

    Clearing energetic blocks.

How your state of being affects your reality.
