The danger of being an INFP

Discover the danger of letting tribe consensus blind us to the truth and learn how to reclaim your critical thinking as an INFP. Hello dear soul, and welcome to the Lightbearer's Library. As INFPs, we often lean heavily on our values, but this can lead us to discount information that is actually true simply because it feels threatening. In this journal entry, I explore how to navigate the "emotional flood" of challenging thoughts and why we must prioritize truth over groupthink. We’ll discuss: - How to "play dress up" with new ideas without feeling defensive. - The importance of challenging the consensus of our "tribe." - Why sitting with your own thoughts is vital in a world of AI and chaos. - Why it feels like our world flips upside down when we change our thinking. - How introverted thinking (Ti) users, like my INFJ husband, help us to develop our thinking skills. By developing our introverted thinking (Ti), we can stay aligned with our soul rather than our culture. Let's practice being humble, staying curious, and finding the courage to think for ourselves! ✨ I would love to hear from you! Have you ever had to change a deeply held value because of new information? Next ▶️ Are you self-gaslighting? Finding God outside of traditional religion

If you are a sensitive soul feeling lost in the modern world, this journal entry will help you find a spiritual path that cultivates deep inward peace and mental equanimity. Hello dear soul, and welcome to the Lightbearer's Library. In this journal entry, we explore why focusing on an intrinsic, internal connection is vital for staying balanced when external things are taken away. As INFPs and HSPs, we often feel a deep longing for peacefulness. I dive into why mind management and physical regulation are the first steps to finding peace in this chaotic world. After years of digging into theology and history, I’ve realized that my soul needs something different to truly feel centered and connected to God or Source. Whether you feel "spiritually homeless" or are simply looking for more tangible practices to feel centered, this video offers a loving perspective on how to keep seeking until you find what works for your unique soul. We discuss: - Why seeking a spiritual path is essential for managing stress and anxiety. - Moving beyond the religion of my ancestors to find a true connection with God. - Using breathwork, meditation, and yoga to reclaim control over your mind and body. - My current journey into the fragmented wisdom of Celtic spirituality. ✨ I would love to hear about your journey! You’re not here to feel bad (INFP/HSP)

Reclaiming your joy is the ultimate act of rebellion in a world that profits from your anxiety and fear. Hello dear soul, and welcome back to the Lightbearer’s Library. If you are a highly sensitive person (HSP) or INFP feeling drained by the constant "brainwashing" of negativity, this journal entry is your guide to spiraling upward. I’ve spent the last few days moving through my own heavy emotions, particularly around the grief of a changing relationship with my mom. But even in those moments, I’m reminded of a simple yet powerful lesson: harness the good, and block the bad. Together, let’s explore how to: - Become aware of the "psychological operations" that pull us into a downward spiral. - Protect our energy by "blocking the bad" in our feeds, environments and relationships. - Harness the good by focusing on gratitude and enthusiasm for life. - Reclaim our natural state of joy as a form of rebellion. 🕊️ Being happy isn’t always easy for sensitive souls, but it is one of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves and the tribe around us. Let’s start spiraling upward together! ✨ What is one "bad" thing you’re choosing to block this week to protect your peace? Share it below! Finding stillness in a shifting world (INFP/HSP)

Discover how to anchor your sensitive soul through internal goals and a clear future vision to escape the disorienting "shifting sand" of today’s world. Hello dear soul and welcome back to the Lightbearer's Library. If you feel discombobulated by the rapid pace of change in technology and politics, you are not alone. In this journal entry, I explore how we can find stability by shifting our focus from external chaos to what is truly within our control. So instead of setting “outer goals” that require relative stability, we set "inner goals". This could look like mastering emotional equanimity or creative goals like writing. For INFPs and HSPs, having a clear vision for the future is vital. It helps us to pull our minds back from anxiety and stay focused on a purposeful path. We can plant seeds for a future that feels stable and bright inside, no matter what is happening outside. ✨ What is one internal goal or vision you are currently aiming at? I’d love to hear from you! Your mind is a playlist. Overwrite the self-doubt tracks (INFP/INFJ)

Have you noticed your mind has negative tracks it likes to play over and over again? It’s time to overcome self-doubt and anxiety by treating our minds like an old-school mixtape or a modern playlist. Then we can consciously overwrite those negative thoughts with new, empowering songs! Hello dear soul, and welcome back to the Lightbearer's Library. If, like me, you’ve been caught in a loop of “I’m not enough” or “I’m not ready,” you are likely playing an old, scratchy mental mixtape of inherited lies. As INFPs or INFJs, these subtle background stories can trigger deep anxiety and make us feel small and uncertain. In this journal entry, I explore how to reclaim our agency and realize that we deserve better stories. We can use journaling to identify these "s****y tracks," and begin the process of replacing them with more meaningful narratives. I share my own journey with self-doubt as a creator and how your lovely comments keep me grounded in my purpose. Whether you are an introvert struggling with visibility or a creative facing a block, it’s time to be brave and record a new song of self-trust. ✨ I would love to hear from you! Our inner idealist causes suffering (INFP/INFJ)

Our beautiful idealist nature, as an INFP (or INFJ) soul, can actually be the source of our deepest suffering. Hello dear soul, and welcome to the Lightbearer's Library. As sensitive souls, we experience pain (loss, rejection, exhaustion) deeply. However, the intense emotional burden we feel comes not from the pain itself, but from our internal resistance to reality—the clash with our ideals. We idealists often fight against “what is,” which only serves to multiply our discomfort. This journal entry breaks down the simple equation Pain x Resistance = Suffering, showing you exactly where your control lies. We can't control the painful events, but we can learn the practice of acceptance to reduce the resistance variable. When we bravely choose not to let the negative thoughts spiral downwards, we start to master our inner world. And in this way we can hopefully spiral upwards towards more peace, happiness, and health!  ✨ If, like me, you felt like this equation was a mini revelation, let me know in the comments!
