    I’m coming out

    I think we may struggle with the concept of positive and negative reinforcement! Discipline is also used as someone’s “wheel house” and me being rather pensive (deep in thought most days with a mouth and mind that works at top speed) I try my best to consider one’s circumstance. I’m not sure if people understand “humble beginnings” or never forgetting “where you came from”… if I truly desire to be Christ-like (Christian) I must be mindful who I speak to… everyone thinks they’re their own representative which isn’t always true- it should be. At any rate, I think YOUR perception is your reality (and your truth). Speak what resonates with you and show grace. Be grateful; it’s all your perception. 🧐

    Mentorship❣️

    I personally feel that my mentors has saved my life more than once in my career. The beauty of it is that you can share your very human experience with them, my job said they had to be above me but that isn’t always the case. The people above me tended to do the most harm because they couldn’t meet me where I was, too bogged down by their own experiences… extremely ornery. You can be mentored in a moment by seeking counsel and have a very specific conversation. Iron sharpens IRON. I caution you to never suffer in silence, speak your mind and find peace. Find refuge in a friend, a mentor.
