  5. #41 The Rest Manifesto by Hilary Rose

    JAN 5

#41 The Rest Manifesto by Hilary Rose

In this powerful solo episode, Hilary Rose shares The Rest Manifesto, a deeply personal reflection on healing, nervous system recovery and reclaiming rest in a world that rewards exhaustion. This episode is not about laziness or giving up, but about rehabilitation after years of surviving, bracing and pushing through. It’s an invitation to soften, slow down and listen to the body’s wisdom. Through poetic language and honest truth, Hilary reframes fatigue as evidence of resilience, rest as an act of courage, and softness as survival reimagined. The Rest Manifesto speaks to anyone who has lived in fight-or-flight, mistaken productivity for worth, or felt disconnected from their own needs. It is a reminder that healing happens at the pace of trust, and that rest is not something to earn, but something to honour. Thank you for listening to this episode. If The Rest Manifesto resonated, you’re invited to sit with it, return to it, and take what you need from it, gently. ____ Key Links Watch Hilary’s TEDx Talk here.
