🏃🏾♀️ Are you actively or passively waiting on God? Waiting on Yah is a participatory sport. While we wait, Yah is using that time to transform us into the women we need to be to obtain and maintain the promise. In this episode I will be sharing guidelines from Hannah’s story of waiting on Yah for a child and nuggets from my own experience of waiting on Yah. The Art Of: The phrase “the art of something” refers to the skill, craft, or nuanced ability required to do a specific task effectively. 👉🏾 Hannah’s Guide to Waiting On Yah * Pour Out Your Soul to Yah. And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. 1 Samuel 1:15 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalm 62:8 * Keep your intentions PURE And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. 1 Samuel 1:11 * Worship while you wait. Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. 18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. 19 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. 1 Samuel 1:17-19 * Accept the Word of Yah along the way to the promise. And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. 13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. 14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. 15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. 16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. 17 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. 1 Samuel 1:12-17 👉🏾 Additional Guidelines for Waiting on Yah * Keep your request before you. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Habakkuk 2:2 * Talk to Yourself & Speak The Word! Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21 * Process your experience (EP. 12: Understanding Biblical Femininity - Applying The W.A.R.
