    Why Setting Boundaries Feels So Hard (and How to Start Anyway)

    Do you ever find it easier to just keep doing what you’re doing rather than what’s best for you?  Do you hear about boundaries and nod along like, makes sense, but when it comes to opening your mouth you talk yourself out of it? Or maybe you’re like me, you’d say yes when you want to say no, and then feel like no one understands how much I’m doing and how tired I am?  Today on the Love Your Life Show, I’m here to reassure you that you’re not alone and the solution isn’t as far away as you think. There’s a tiny piece that most of the boundary experts on instagram and tiktok are missing that, once you learn it, makes all of this feel much less hard.  In this episode, I'm digging into why setting boundaries feels so hard for so many of us, even those listeners who grew up in the most loving and supportive homes. As women, and especially as recovering people-pleasers and codependents, we often fall into a pattern of keeping the peace—on the outside—while we’re boiling inside.     How to Communicate with Narcissists and Emotionally Immature People

    Warriors! Here are the strategies that work when interacting with narcissists or emotionally immature people. These are ways that I’ve kept my cool even in the craziest of situations and I’m so excited to share them with you. You know those conversations that leave you feeling drained, confused, or like you’re the one who did something wrong — even when you didn’t? The person you’re interacting with may be a narcissist, or maybe just acting like an emotional child. No matter, these tools work!  Instead of spiraling into frustration or self-doubt, doing these 4 things help you feel more calm and in control.  In this follow-up episode, I’m sharing clear, actionable tools to help you communicate with all our people, whether they’re currently acting emotionally immature or narcissists.
