Florian Hillen, the CEO of Videa Health, initially pursued a career in medicine but ultimately decided to leave medical school after assisting in a neurosurgery procedure that made him realize the monotony of the job. He then founded a digital pregnancy app called Neenu and later became interested in applying AI to dentistry, leading him to pursue a master's degree in computer science at MIT. Hillen then started Videa Health, which has developed FDA-cleared AI algorithms to assist dentists in diagnosis and treatment planning, with the goal of improving patient outcomes and automating administrative tasks.
