    VOYAGE 028 | Interpretation of Worlds and The Transmutation Oracle Deck with Nikoo Bafti

    Artist, Mystic and all-around interpreter of worlds, Nikoo Bafti joins me to discuss the launch of The Transmutation Oracle Deck that she hand-crafted for the Philosophical Research Society. They have not made a tarot deck in over 100 years until they reached out to her. Wowsers. We get into the journey and her radical shift as an artist and what all people experience in form or another, as we navigate and try to interpret the world and magic around us. How does that unfold and what form does it take for you? We have a wonderful discussion about all things mystical and then get a sneak peek at The Transmutation Oracle she created in collaboration with writer Laura Hayes. Nikoo's Instagram here! Nikoo Bafti is a British-Iranian Visual Artist and Illustrator. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Illustration & FdA in Visual Communication from the Arts University of Bournemouth, Nikoo began her career as an Animation Development Intern at Disney Channels in London and has since established her own freelance practice as an Illustrator and Visual Artist exhibiting internationally. Her clients include The Philosophical Research Society, Psychic Garden, Disney Channel & Truly Hard Seltzer. Nikoo's work takes a look behind a thinning veil to a realm of the mystical and anomalous through her intensely saturated and arresting colour palettes. Her use of fine detail and delicate, emblematic markings are reminiscent of the traditional Persian Miniature painting style of her heritage.     VOYAGE 026 | A Parapsychologists's Comfort in the Unknown with Loyd Auerbach

    Excited to welcome Loyd Auerbach, Parapsychologist, author, President of the Forever Family Foundation, and President of the Board of Directors at the Rhine Institute. We dive into the subjects of parapsychology, paranormal investigations, and psychic phenomena. Loyd tells us about a notable case involving a 12-year-old boy who claimed to communicate with the ghost of a previous homeowner named Lois. We dig into the challenges facing parapsychology, including limited funding opportunities and academic bias, as well as the importance of distinguishing between genuine psychic experiences and frauds or entertainers. Loyd's work with the Forever Family Foundation's and certification program for mediums is a huge part of moving forward process after death and dealing with the grief of losing a loved one. We call it the afterform over here and think that consciousness is the key to understanding the inevitability of eternity when it comes to the survival of spirit. We also discuss the concept of Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC), focusing on direct voice phenomena and its historical roots in early 20th century research. And we are Yay! with the apparition over here and maybe we are Nay! on the billionaire? Time will tell, but it seems pretty obvious.     We dive further into the consciousness pool with the looks at all the connections in some special books and interesting research projects that show the connections to communication between us and beyond. Even though it is no secret that consciousness is a great mystery, but one with enormous implications, we can see that there are very rich and fascinating people and projects based on its study for some not so obvious reasons. I'll reference the book Inside the U.S. Governemnt Covert UFO Program: Initial Revealations by Lacatski, Kelleher and Knapp, along with Angels and Archangels by Damien Echols, Metaphysics by Aristotle, and The Idea of the World by Bernardo Kastrup. Then we just happen upon some interesting and unexpected connections after an initial internet search for a foundation I had not heard of yet.
